#3 - With regards to the direwolves (view spoiler) .
#7 - Yes, I liked the part where (view spoiler)

I don't care much for Catelyn or the other Lannisters, Sansa, the Hound, Littlefinger, and Daenerys' brother, and the Spider... Though Sansa and the Hound bonding could make me like them a little bit if done right. Perhaps he will be her new direwolf? Lol
The rest, so far, I'm ambivalent towards.
I love the direwolves especially!

1. We've had a lot of speculation about Jon's parentage. Robert was with Ned the year he was away and mentions Wylla - Jon's mother. What do you think of this new development? If Wylla is Jon's mother then who was Ashara to Ned? Could it be that he had more than one affair?
I think Robert only suspects that Wylla may be Jon’s mother, perhaps he isn’t Ned’s son but another member of the family’s who he is protecting. And maybe Ashara is a link to them or another daughter he has who stayed with the mother.
2. We finally find out that Rhaegar did rape Lyanna. Does this change anything for you?
It doesn’t because I’d suspected she had been treated something like that, however, it may lead to clues to Jon Snow’s parentage. Although it possibly shows the depths his son (? Slightly confused by the relationships, I need to make a family tree!!) Viserys may go to to reach his goals.
3. Ned advises Robert that "no one man should hold both the East and West". Do you think this could be foreshadowing something? Or is it just advice?
I think it’s both a premonition but also very sensible advice, it’s putting a lot of power in the hands of one person, something that usually ends badly.
4. Does it surprise you to find out how Jaime Lannister got his nickname of Kingslayer? Also, what about Ned finding Jaime sitting on the Iron Throne?
It doesn’t surprise me that a Lannister betrayed a king for his own end, but him sitting on the throne doesn’t bode well for Robert
5. What do you think about the young boys called "Rapers" being taken to the Wall? Does it shock you?
It’s an interesting idea, an alternative punishment which has a similar effect.
6. Does this sentence say anything important about the Lannisters? "The Lannisters took what was offered" (120). Think about it in reference to what Ned said about Jaime sitting on the throne. Does it change anything about Jaime Lannister?
I think it does give the impression of being greedy and power hungry and suggests that, if there was the chance, a Lannister would sit on the throne.
7. What do you think of the bond between Jon and Tyrion?
It’s an interesting bond, one that may be good for both or which may be used for ill, depending on how loyal they are to their respective families. Tyrion may also succeed in driving Jon further apart from his family.
8. Who do you think the man was, who was sent to Bran's room? Who do you think sent him? Why?
I think he was a criminal, given a chance at ‘redemption’ by attempting to murder Bran, probably on behalf of the Queen or Jamie.
9. Many have shown dislike for Theon Grayjoy, how do you feel about him being allowed to hear what Catelyn has to say about the Lannisters?
I’m not sure it’s a good idea, it may be that he will betray the family in the future.
10. Even after 15 years Catelyn does not consider herself to be a Stark. She tells Robb to stay at Winterfell because "there must always be a Stark at Winterfell" (137). Why do you think Catelyn chooses to exclude herself from being a Stark?
I think it may be to do with her being a woman and therefore not being ‘in charge’ as that is seen to be a position for a man. It may also be that she isn’t completely comfortable with the cold surroundings she’s found herself living in. Or, she didn’t want Robb to go and gave him a reason that meant he couldn’t leave.
11. Is it significant that the "wilder" children look like Starks and the "tamer" children look like Tullys? Why?
I think that Ned is more carefree while Catelyn has been brought up with a strong sense of what is proper and this is reflected in the natures of their children.
12. What do you think about the fight between Arya and Joffrey? What kind of repercussions do you think will follow?
I don’t think things will go well for Arya, Joffrey and the Queen (and the rest of the Lannisters) will continue to hold a grudge against her and the rest of the Starks.

Lisarenee's Questions for Chapter 16 (Eddard) - Chapter 19 (Jon)
(view spoiler)[
1. Gah! They killed Lady and then Micah. I thought Micah would get off with just punishment not death. Did anyone see that coming? Wonder where Nymeria is? I love how the wolves are so smart.
I didn’t think that Micah would be killed although I think the Hound probably saw it as sport and fun rather than strictly necessary. I think Nymeria will reappear at a key point, probably to save Arya in the future.
2. Thoughts on Bran's dreams before he woke up? Do you think he'll remember everything? Do you think it was a dream or will he now see things? Could he have the same powers as Varys whom Catelyn referred to as a spider?
I think it was probably a very premonitious dream, whether he remembers everything and whether he will be believed is a different matter.
3. Do you think the Lannisters went to the wall so they could keep an eye on Bran's situation without being obvious? Why did they go to the wall in the first place?
I’m not sure if Tyrion is as involved with his sibling’s plans as the other Lannisters are, it’s possible he really was interested in the Wall and its function. Either that or they are interested in what is the other side.
4. After hearing about the Dagger being Tyrion's do you suspect he's more involved with his siblings plans then you may have previously thought?
I wonder if it is a set up, he seems too bitter and full of self preservation to be sending a killer.
5. Do you think Catelyn was wise to leave home?
I’m not sure if it was a good idea, she has potentially left Winterfell undefended when it needs to be.
6. So what are your thoughts on the mantra "Winter is coming"? What do you think it means? Could it be another way of saying be prepared?
I think it probably means that it will be getting cold as winter approaches, that the current season of Robert’s reign may be coming under threat and the atmospher is changing. For all of that, people should be prepared for what lies ahead.
7. Do you think it was a mistake for Jon to come to the Wall?
I think he may come to regret it for a while as it is harsher than the idealised view he had of it.
8. Initial thoughts of Donal Noye and the advice and the information he gave Jon?
I think his advice was good, maybe harsh but what was needed to make Jon see why he has no friends there.
9. Jon made an enemy. That cannot be good. Any thoughts on what Ser Alliser will do?
I think he’ll bide his time and cause problems for Jon in the future.
10. Do you think Tyrion is a "nice" guy or is he hoping to turn Jon against his family?
I think he possibly is trying to toughen Jon up with the side effect of separating him from his family.
11. Bran named his wolf Summer. Does this mean he'll have something to do with them getting through whatever terrible events are coming?
I think he’s going to be involved but he is also a ray of hope, much as the thought of summer is during winter.
