However the one book that was previously listed under the incorrect author name is now listed as another book under the correct author name (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17...). Any chance it could be merged with the actual book at http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28...?

I combined some others I noticed on some of the author profiles I was working on whilst working on #166...

After seeing your comment, just tidied up a few there:

With the 2nd set, noticed 1 group wasn't combined (the author was listed as Andrew Mullender): I found references that said the author should be Audrey Mullender and corrected:

With the fourth set, the first author name on the first book was incorrect as per the cover. Now combined (the 7th set is to actually combine these 2 authors).

With the 8th & 9th sets, the second author had no period on the initial, so they weren't all combined (but are now).

With the 10th, temporarily switched the author on one group in order to combine then switched back (couldn't find references quickly as to which should be the primary author/editor).

With the 11th & 12th sets, checked WorldCat for the primary author (plus the cover of the first book), and they're now combined.

With the 13th, the author of the 2nd book needed updating to the correct form (Cathy Humphries), then both combined.

With the 14th, only one book, but combined all books under that author that I could see needed combining.

The book used to have three listings and two author pages. The page listed above is now redundant - it's the wrong spelling for his name, and it has no books listed, so it is not even an author page for a real person.

Good morning -

This book was put out under a pen name, which is being retired. It is now reissued in Kindle and Paperback with a new cover and ISBN (for the paperback), with the author being 'Diana Wilder writing as Anne Shaughnessy'.

The original edition will be withdrawn in short order. I have added the book; can it be consolidated with the initial edition? There is a slight change in the title 'The Orphan's Tale, Book I: Malet's Story is now 'The Orphan's Tale (Book I)'

I also noticed the original publication date on the existing editions is incorrect. The original publication is the book I added with a date of 1918.

The original publication date is an automatic thing in most cases based on the oldest edition of the combined set.

There is an issue with the top edition listed being wrongly attributed to a different Helen Cooper (a children's author as opposed to a literary historian) which I'm not sure how to fix myself, but they are in fact editions of the same book.

Rebecca, the Helen Cooper you were looking for had an extra space in her name. Like this, Helen^^Cooper (^ signifies spaces). It's the way we distinguish different authors with the same names. Hope this helps!

I more or less did as you asked, except there were a couple called "The New Encyclopedia..." as opposed to "The Encyclopedia...". I separated those from each other, and I grabbed as many covers from Amazon as I could.
