(I spotted going thru my amazon wishlist, saw the sale on amazon, bought book and came back to goodreads to mark as bought -- when shelving here saw the promotion in book description. Hopefully the length of time the ephemeral information/promotion was likely in book description doesn't encourage more to popup.)

Done all 12 editions.

However, attempts to update editions with the "default description" are not sticking. Other edits are, however, so I'm just replacing the questionable reviews with the *text* of the default description. Does anyone know if this is a known issue?

Description in book synopsis says:
""An outstanding historical novel.”—New York Times
“This novel makes real . . . the whole world of the New Testament.”—Chicago Tribune
“His theme is presented with an assurance and sweetness that is refreshing
in a great novel.”—Christian Science…"
