I finished my third pick Fool me Twice by Locklyn Marx I enjoyed it. It was a quick read and I wish there was more of an ending or a follow-up I was left hanging wanting more.

message 411: by Penney (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Hi Ab2y! I forgot to tell you that I finished Neanderthal Seeks Human: A Smart Romance a few day ago. Great read! I loved quirky, awkward Janie. I don't think I would've picked this up on my own so I truly appreciate the recommendation. This is what I love about this challenge!

message 412: by Gea (last edited Sep 11, 2013 01:18PM) (new)

Gea (gea89) | 545 comments Carla, I finished The Outlaw and the Lady (Daughters of Fortune, #1) by Lorraine Heath and gave it 4 stars. It was a good historical western romance but as the series moves to England in next book I won't continue with it. There's a series about hero and heroine's parents that looks interesting though

message 413: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) @Dianne

I finished Venom (Elemental Assassin, #3) by Jennifer Estep and its definitely the best in the series so far. Gin is such a great heroine and I can't wait to see what she gets up to next.

Thanks!

Crystal, I'm so happy you're liking your picks! I think all my recommendations were books I thoroughly enjoyed, so it's nice to know you're enjoying them as much as I did!

Brandilyn, I finally finished my first pick...it's been a REALLY slow reading month for me. I read The Melody Thief and loved it! Thanks for picking it for me. I'm hoping to get through a few more picks this month, but the way things have been going so far I'm not too sure...

message 419: by ❆ Crystal ❆ (last edited Sep 12, 2013 04:17PM) (new)

❆ Crystal ❆ (crystal_wright) Thanks Karen, They were really great picks. I plan to read another 2 or 3 of them this month... and believe it or not, I will read them all by the end of October. Thanks for introducing me to some really great books. I'm glad you got to pick for me this month.

Hi Ty!

I'm so glad you liked them both :)

I would still like to read Shine Not Burn with you! Is it ok if we start it closer to the 21st or so? I am struggling to find time to finish the two books I have going right now, and a few library books came in that I would like to get to because they have to be back by a certain time.

My high school senior has me hopping with college applications, essays, road test, etc. right now....
