Hi Dee, I finished my first pick today. I read Rapunzel. I thought the beginning was a little over the top, but the rest was pure fairy tale and those are always good! I started Eat Play Lust this afternoon too. =)

. You were so right it was very hot but also very sweet. I really liked the author's writing so I'm going to check out not of her stuf..."Oh, yay!! I knew you'd like it :-) She has a few others out, I think she writes mostly PNR stuff. I think I have another one by her, but I haven't read it yet. Should probably get on that...
Enjoy Mystery Man! Mmmmm, sexy sexy book.
Yz, I just finished reading
this morning and OMG how adorable was that book?!? Thanks for the rec, I enjoyed every minute of it!Not sure what I'm going with next, but I'll make a decision soon :-)
Dee wrote: "only 11ish hours (east coast time elke)"Lol Dee! Whats funny is that now I am reading a book that is not a PIFM book! So much for wanting Septmeber to get here! :p
Hi Dee, finished Eat Play Lust - that was cute and fun! Thanks for the pick!I hope to get to some other picks this month. I know I will at least read Flowers from the Storm, but there are several others I want to read too. I just need to read a few others for some challenges first though...
Karen H Another awesome pick! I just finished up my 2nd book
I gave this 5 stars! It was sooooo good. You can pick books for me anytime!
Renee!I just finished my second pick
, and I enjoyed it very much! I liked this a lot better than the Rock Chick books. It was so delicious. I probably would've slept with Hawk too when I didn't know his name. :)2/2 so far, Renee. I'm going to tackly
next.

Read "The Opportunist" and loved it!
Elizabeth, I finished my first pick today-Honey Moon. It was so good! I flew threw so many emotions reading this one! Not sure if I'm giving it 4 or 5 * yet. I need to let it all sink in a little longer first, but it's definitely a great pick! Thanks so much! Now on to the next!

Crystal,Finished my first pick
!! It was a really quick and easy read! Can't wait to its conclusion in November!!
Elke wrote: "Crystal,Finished my first pick

Renee!I read
and I loved it so much I read Mile High as well and loved that one too. If I get time at the end, I may read book 3 as well this month. We'll see. So, I guess we'll count that as picks 3 and 4 read!Books read this month:
Mountain KatI finished Fifteen Shades of Gay today. Hmmmm...it was very good, just not what I expected. I think I must not have read the reviews of it. (view spoiler) So with this hovering around me as I read it, I think it prevented me from truly enjoying the book.

Yes, I can see how that would make it harder to enjoy. I've been there myself so I completely understand. I did like what a great brother he was through it all though. In a lot of ways that book pushed my comfort zones, I was happier with it in retrospect after thinking about my feelings, how I was triggered and what really happened.
Ashley,I have finished two books -
was an ok PNR book, the story was a bit rushed but still pretty good.
, a cute friends-to-lovers romance.I gave both books 3 stars.

I finished [book:Lover Mine|7046495] by J.R. Ward and it was alright. I gave it *** because I was really looking forward to the Xhex and John story but it kind of disappointed me. Too many other story lines were getting in the way for me.
Well I have finished 2 of my picksTrouble in Mudbug
Angels Fall
Loved both of them and can't wait for the next
NadineThats great! Glad you enjoyed them.
I like the Marriage to a Billionaire series too, still have to read the fourth one though.
Crystal wrote: " Karen H I just finished my 3rd PIFM

I'm glad you liked it, Crystal! Jill Shalvis is one of my go-to authors when I want something light and fun but with great characters. And the fact that the town of Lucky Harbor (if it existed) would be located not far too from where I live gives that series a little extra shot of fun for me... :-)
Oh that is totally fun Karen!I'm starting my 4th PIFM today!
You get an A+ for all my pics! I'm really enjoying myself. :-) And, since today is my b-day I plan to spend most of it reading!
Amy wrote: "NadineThats great! Glad you enjoyed them.

If you liked the first three I think you will really like the fourth one. Let me know when you read it I want your opinion on the ending.

I just finish "Craving Constellations" and thought it was great!!! I started "Reckless" by Skye Jordan.
ReneeI just finished the 5th and 6th books for this month.
--loved this one! It was hilarious and sweet. I have listened to the audiobooks for the other books in the series, and I think that I will have to listen to this one when it comes out (so long as it's the same narrator) because I think it would be even more hilarious then when I read it. I just love Ty & Zane and I love the way that their relationship is progressing. I'm so glad that they (view spoiler). *sigh* Ty & Zane are definitely my book boyfriends even though I don't have the right parts to satisfy them, a girl can dream. *sigh*
--so I'm not sure how I feel about this one. The story was good, but I felt disconnected to it because I really didn't like Caleb nor could I want anything good to happen for him. The end of the story made me a bit ill. I couldn't believe that he was still going to go through with it. I will have to continue this series though because I have to know what happens next. So, I still am super excited about all of these picks. You've really hit it out of the park this month! I think I'll go on to
next. Maybe
, I'm not sure.Books I've read so far this month:

Cute short story. Owen's sweetness and Malcolm's vulneraability worked well together. I am so glad to see that there is a second story for them. Heading off to add it to my tbr.

Hey Fran!I finished
and gave it 3.5 stars. It was a compelling read that I liked well enough, yet I couldn't help thinking of the LOST potential - at the hands of a more experienced (emotional?) writer, I could see this having a deeper connection to the readers. Then again, I am a masochist who yearns for angsty reads. ha. onward to the next!ps. naturally, I wanted to slap Sebastian multiple times and at multiple times throughout the story - thus my wish for him to suffer much more than he did. hahahah.
Ty wrote: "Hey Fran!I finished

I do not yearn for angsty reads, I am going to keep that in mind for you if I get to pick for you again ;)
Zara--Thanks for the great picks. I just read
and
and liked them both. I especially enjoyed the Cinderella Pact--it was a very fun, light blend of chit-lit and romance.
Karen H I just finished my 4th PIFM
I really enjoyed this story. The character were fun, the plot was intriguing. I thought there would be more debauchery, but that's ok. I'll for sure read the next book in the series. My favorite part were the letters. I gave it 4 stars. I'll start my 5th PIFM on the 9th...
Crystal wrote: " Karen H I just finished my 4th PIFM

I loved the letters!! I kept waiting and waiting for some response from him and I wasn't let down - was the best part of the book!

I agree! I didn't realize who they were to at first... It was totally cool.
Hi Brandilyn,I just finished my first pick for the month,
, and I must say that I was a bit disappointed in the writing style. I was really looking forward to this book, but I thought the main character was in some ways too stereotyped. I also thought that although the plot was good, especially near the end, it just didn't move smoothly. But that being said, I am still glad that I read it, and am moving on to another pick soon (just haven't decided which one yet - too many good ones to choose from - lol!)
