Runell, I have chosen my first September pick!!! The Opportunist it is!!!

I finished my first pick,

Oh, yay!! I knew you'd like it :-) She has a few others out, I think she writes mostly PNR stuff. I think I have another one by her, but I haven't read it yet. Should probably get on that...
Enjoy Mystery Man! Mmmmm, sexy sexy book.

Not sure what I'm going with next, but I'll make a decision soon :-)

Lol Dee! Whats funny is that now I am reading a book that is not a PIFM book! So much for wanting Septmeber to get here! :p

I hope to get to some other picks this month. I know I will at least read Flowers from the Storm, but there are several others I want to read too. I just need to read a few others for some challenges first though...

Another awesome pick! I just finished up my 2nd book

I gave this 5 stars! It was sooooo good. You can pick books for me anytime!

I just finished my second pick

2/2 so far, Renee. I'm going to tackly

I can say that I don't know if I will ever look at Tater Tots the same way again...haha!

Yes! Several different foods have been affected by my reading, not something I would want to explain in front of my children! So I try to keep it to myself... =P

Read "The Opportunist" and loved it!

I'm so glad you liked it! I think it's an amazing, heartbreaking story, not the typical romance, and I remember that I cried so much when I was reading it.

Finished my first pick

Finished my first pick

That's great Elke!

I read

Books read this month:

I finished Fifteen Shades of Gay today. Hmmmm...it was very good, just not what I expected. I think I must not have read the reviews of it. (view spoiler) So with this hovering around me as I read it, I think it prevented me from truly enjoying the book.

Yes, I can see how that would make it harder to enjoy. I've been there myself so I completely understand. I did like what a great brother he was through it all though. In a lot of ways that book pushed my comfort zones, I was happier with it in retrospect after thinking about my feelings, how I was triggered and what really happened.

I have finished two books -

I gave both books 3 stars.

I finished [book:Lover Mine|7046495] by J.R. Ward and it was alright. I gave it *** because I was really looking forward to the Xhex and John story but it kind of disappointed me. Too many other story lines were getting in the way for me.

Trouble in Mudbug
Angels Fall
Loved both of them and can't wait for the next

Thats great! Glad you enjoyed them.
I like the Marriage to a Billionaire series too, still have to read the fourth one though.

I just finished my 3rd PIFM

Thanks Karen"
I'm glad you liked it, Crystal! Jill Shalvis is one of my go-to authors when I want something light and fun but with great characters. And the fact that the town of Lucky Harbor (if it existed) would be located not far too from where I live gives that series a little extra shot of fun for me... :-)

I'm starting my 4th PIFM today!

If you liked the first three I think you will really like the fourth one. Let me know when you read it I want your opinion on the ending.

I'm starting my 4th PIFM today!

Happy Birthday! Sounds like a great way to spend it to me!

I just finished the 5th and 6th books for this month.

So, I still am super excited about all of these picks. You've really hit it out of the park this month! I think I'll go on to

Books I've read so far this month:

I'm starting my 4th PIFM today!

Happy Birthday Crystal!!

Finished another one today.

I am so glad to see that there is a second story for them. Heading off to add it to my tbr.

I'm starting my 4th PIFM today!

ps. naturally, I wanted to slap Sebastian multiple times and at multiple times throughout the story - thus my wish for him to suffer much more than he did. hahahah.

I finished

I'm glad you thought it was at least OK :)
I do not yearn for angsty reads, I am going to keep that in mind for you if I get to pick for you again ;)

Thanks for the great picks. I just read
