The letters may appear more than once.
That works

The letters may appear more than once.
That works

The Club Dumas
The Flame Tree
The Ghost Map: The Story of London's Most Terrifying Epidemic--and How It Changed Science, Cities, and the Modern World
The Madness of Adam and Eve
Water Marked
The Woman Who Named God: Abraham's Dilemma and the Birth of Three Faiths
MetaMaus: A Look Inside a Modern Classic, Maus
The Memory of Water
Can't Buy Me Love
The Last Days of the Romanovs: Tragedy at Ekaterinburg
Old Masters, New World: America's Raid on Europe's Great Pictures
The Other Woman
Eleventh Month, Eleventh Day, Eleventh Hour: Armistice Day, 1918
The Map of True Places
The Mouse's Tale
Three Apples Fell From Heaven
The Tempest Tales
The Freedom Star
Oddly enough, not one book on my TBR works for the FUN option. I think I'll go with Delmy's choice.

I have Funerals for Horses and The Thoughts & Happenings of Wilfred Price, Purveyor of Superior Funerals on TBR

The Family: The Secret Fundamentalism at the Heart of American Power
The Teacher's Funeral : A Comedy in Three Parts
It's Good to Be the King: The Seriously Funny Life of Mel Brooks

Quite a few of these title have an I in them as well, as I understand;) these don't work.

I looked at The Teacher's Funeral : A Comedy in Three Parts, especially since it's a comedy even though the word is "funeral", but it has "childrens" on the main page and is too few pages to qualify, so it won't count.

You can ignore subtitles, so The Ghost Map: The Story of London's Most Terrifying Epidemic--and How It Changed Science, Cities, and the Modern World and others with "i" subtitles will work

That's correct
That's correct

Thanks!

Thanks!"
"Fun" alone is fine

Lament for a Lost Lover - Lament
After the Funeral - Funeral
Sue T wrote: "Will The 6th Man work?"
Sue, that really looks like a typo title- all the other edition use The Sixth Man- and that's what the author and publisher report.
Sorry, it won't work

Well, I've enjoyed most of the Agatha Christie books I've read so far and I hope this will be one I like as well. As for "Lament", I read it back in the 80's as a teenager. Re-reading this series 20-odd years later has been interesting. :)

That's OK - I've got other options.

I'm looking at The 39 Deaths of Adam Strand, since I'm working on fitting all the awesome library books I've found into the current tasks.

Yes, that would work- the 39 is OK for this one

I was excited about Life is Funny because I have wanted to read something by the author for a long time. Unfortunately, when I double checked, 2 people had put it in Childrens, where , of course, it definitely doesn't belong, darn it! Also, it's 272 pages, so it won't work for a 30 point task.

Option 2 - It's Kind of a Funny Story

As we begin our 4th year as SRC moderators, I would like to think that Sandy, Kristi and I make a pretty good team. As we go forward, we remember:
There’s no “I” in team-
Book 1: Read a book with all the letters T, E, A, M, but not the letter "I" found in any order in the title. Subtitles may be used or ignored.
ex Matterhorn
MATtErhorn, no I
and
We have to have fun-
Book 2: Read a book with the word "fun" found intact in a word in the title and/or subtitle
ex. The Reluctant Fundamentalist, Funny in Farsi: A Memoir of Growing Up Iranian in America
