Day having a perfect trial score and June's parents being murdered and the plague being intentional is a lot going on but it doesn't feel rushed and it doesn't feel forced. Yeah, so we start at the same time, and then we can discuss it together as we go. It's too difficult to keep to a schedule when one of us might be a lot busier than the other :)

I just don't want one of us to have no time to read one day and fall behind :)

I'm up to page 98 (view spoiler)[ Im really loving this so far! Day is very sneaky, which is cool. And I love how much he loves his family. I'm not sure I could ever be brave enough to do what he's doing just for medicine. I wonder how he ended up not being killed? He seems good, did he fail the Trial on purpose? I wish we could find out more about that! I think that's the only problem with this book. They're pretty vague on details, and the world she's created isn't feeling real to me yet. I like June too, but not as much. People in her situation annoy me. Can't she see how wrong her country is? Thomas was torturing people, how can she be okay with that? She's also, despite all the reports she's good, a goody two shoes. Sometimes she doesn't act like it, but underneath it all you can tell. At first I was sad about her brother, but I don't think the funeral made me as sad as it should've. I mean, I nearly cried in Big Hero 6 when they did the same thing, and he was a cartoon! Pages 136-200 (view spoiler)[ So much happens in this book in such a short space of time! I mean, Day arrested? Arrested?!? I thought June would help him escape, but she didn't! She has to at the end though, right? She likes him, and she's starting to realise how corrupted her country is. Thomas shot his mother for Gods sake! I'm worried about the brothers, I like them. I really hope they're okay! I'm also worried about Tess, I don't know how well shed do on her own. I still ship Tessa and Day, even though it's so wrong (hide spoiler)]
