Hey Everyone,
I chose The Selection as my choice for my summer reading book for school. I loved the book so much that i finished it in one night. It's the project that's giving me a hard time. I have been assigned to do five journal entries on the book and each journal entry is to annalyze the book in a different setting. the only entry I'm having trouble with is the one where i have to pick a main theme. Where there even any themes in this book. I need answer fast school is starting soon and i need to finish this stupid project. I will be very grateful to any help/advice anyone can give me thanks! :)

Also please join my book group "Girly Books" i do many givaways and a big one is coming up shortly. thankyou

You can talk about the caste system. That theme was the most prevalent. There is also talk in the book about "American History" which is interesting because in the book America ( as we know it right now) does not exist.

caste system is good. You can also point out the "fairytale". A new kind of story that you can choose as a bedtime story for little girls aside from Cindrella and Sleeping Beauty.
