I have been reading quite a bit of Greene this year, but right now the streak is due to the fact that my library book is actually Classic Tales of Espionage & Suspense: Orient Express/This Gun for Hire/Our Man in Havana/The Ministry of Fear so 4 books in one!

I read Edgar Allan Poe short stories last October in honor of Halloween - they vary in quality but the best ones are very creepy! Enjoy :)

I read it last as well and really enjoyed it! I hope you do too. :)

@Charbel I've read both if those this year. The Stand is a cracking read but long and involved. It took me a good month. The Night Circus is shorter but still quite detailed and involved. As a book, I personally preferred The Stand. I liked both though, so I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever you chose!

I can relate to that, Sally, I'm married to a teacher and he's just the same, he struggles to read at night!

Waiting for Gertrude: I had started it but stopped to wait for dely. Now I have to pick it up again!
Just finished Vanity Fair and now can't decide between the group fiction read or group play. I have both waiting on my kindle and will decide tomorrow as I'm far too tired for a new book tonight
I will eventually but which order?!

I'd suggest reading The Light Between Oceans first, since the group play will be going on until Dec.
That is an excellent point, Leslie. I think I will start it next so I can join in the discussions.

Post Captain and Rosalind Franklin: The Dark Lady of DNA...
My next book will be Angel City, I got it through netgalley a while ago and I have been meaning to read it for ages.

Read it at the biginning of this year and liked it a lot. You need to have stomac, though ...
About to start - hopefully tomorrow morning, The Red and the Black after having just finished - and adhored - The Belly of Paris. It is incredible, but it is reminding me of my present situation with my brither and his wife: of course they are the fat and I'm the thin!!!! ;)

Laura - are you really about to start The Red and the Black? I have this as an audiobook and was just thinking about starting it tomorrow!
Really Leslie? I'm starting it tomorrow myself! But I don't think I can listen to it: I don't know any italian audiobook of it nd I'd find it ridicoulous to listen to it in english!!!!

I started this and decided to postpone it - I just can't concentrate on it so I will listen to a lighter audiobook. Hope you enjoy it though :)

Hope you enjoy it, I didn't enjoy as much when I first read it but I would like to re-read it sometime soon.

Thanks! Sometime you need to read something a few times before you really enjoy/appreciate the story :)
