Also how do I view protected PDF files from NetGalley on iPhone? Is there an app I can use or what because they’re not on the NetGalley shelf and I can’t view them on iBooks or my PDF viewer

You may have to read it through the NetGalley app. Has it been archived? If it's been archived and you didn't download it unfortunately I don't think there's a way to get the book after that point...

No I was just approved and the archive date is 30th but it isn’t on the app at all it says I can download a protected PDF file but I can’t view it on my PDF viewer or on iBooks so I’m not sure how I can view it at all

I've found NG support to be very responsive

@Bayan when there was only a downloadable PDF available on Netgalley I had to download Adobe Digital Editions to my computer and drag and drop the files into it to view them.

Um, where on Netgalley Shelf did you search for them? Because sometimes the books don't show up in recently downloaded or recently read, or even my books, but only in the Netgalley Shelf option. And then, (with an internet connection, because otherwise this doesn't work) you can search for the book using the search option, within the netgalley shelf option. Hopefully you get it!

Actually the website itself when I’m approved the book it gives me only one option and that is to download a PDF except it doesn’t work with any viewer I tried :/ I’m doing to try on desktop now and see how it goes

Do you have the ade app on your phone? That should work too, if you don't want to use the desktop.

You'll still have to verify your adobe id on the phone, but after downloading the app if you open the .acsm file through ade, it should open.
