Does this angry guy have to be pissed paranormal or can he be a mad mortal male?
The Charley Davidson series has a leading man that is pretty surly plus it is full of fun and humor as well.
I would say Richard from Anita Blake series would qualify..dont know. But don't know if you have read the series...seems most everyone in here has.

Jericho Barrons is the hottest surliest bad dude ever. I adore the Fever series! Top five series ever. (Honestly everything Karen Marie Moning writes is quality.)I also adore the Cassie/Pritkin interactions in the Cassie Palmer series by Karen Chance. They drive each other nuts!
I am currently having my heart shredded by angst and anger reading the Downside Ghosts series by Stacia Kane. Seriously surly hero there!
