The Charley Davidson series has a leading man that is pretty surly plus it is full of fun and humor as well.

Jericho Barrons is the hottest surliest bad dude ever. I adore the Fever series! Top five series ever. (Honestly everything Karen Marie Moning writes is quality.)

I also adore the Cassie/Pritkin interactions in the Cassie Palmer series by Karen Chance. They drive each other nuts!

I am currently having my heart shredded by angst and anger reading the Downside Ghosts series by Stacia Kane. Seriously surly hero there!
