Kyle- In the general discussion forum, there is a thread called 5 star reads. It's about 6 pages full of members most favorite reads. I'm sure I added about 30 to my TBR pile- you might want to check there!
For a bit of fun try Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels, the best thing about those is if you DO like them, there are around 30 or more to keep you going. I haven't been reading them in order and I don't think its really necessary as the books are often about different characters. My personal favourites are the City Watch stories. (Where else are you going to see a Dirty Harry reference played out with a dragon?(Guards! Guards!))

Either :D
Thanks everyone :)
City Watch stories? Whose the author?
Terry Pratchett, The City Watch books focus on characters that are a part of the books equivilent of a police force.(Guards! Guards! is the first book in the discworld series that involves them I think)
Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time Series is wonderful. 11 books, the 12 book comes out on November 3, 2009. Great series.
Any Hemingway. Steinbeck is good too!
Shogun is really good. You should read that!!!!!

LOL! That was good! Have you read Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane? The movie will be out in October and we all know the books are better than the movies.
Hi Kyle,Hope you don't mind I took a look at your profile to get an idea of what kind of books you might like. Here are some suggestions (not in any particular order):
Noughts and Crosses series by Malorie Blackman
Life of Pi by Yann Martel
Shadowmancer by G P Taylor
Yes Man by Danny Wallace (for something that will make you laugh out loud!)
The alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks
They're all very different books. If you like any of them let me know!!
Here are some suggestions for you:What is the What
Youth in Revolt
The Bear went over the Mountain
Running with Scissors
Shogun
Amusing Ourselves to Death
Kyle: I forgot to mention the "Dexter" series, which I thought you might enjoy. They are: Darkly Dreaming Dexter (book 1), Dearly Devoted Dexter (book 2) and Dexter in the Dark (book 3).
With no rhyme or reason, here are some good ones off the top of my head:Classic Feynman All the Adventures of a Curious Character
Good Omens The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch
Enslaved by Ducks
The Radioactive Boyscout
Daughter of the Blood
Tales of the Black Widowers
The Graveyard Book
Ex Libris Confessions of a Common Reader
Piercing the Veil Eric Wentz
I highly recommend "Piercing the Veil" by Eric Wentz, if you like military, historical, political, mystery, suspense, laced with bits of humor and romance. It has all 5-star reviews on both amazon and barnes and noble. Great book.
