Hi, I'm Adrienne SAHM in the US to four beautiful kiddos, I LOVE to read, don't always have as much time as I'd like, but wouldn't change a thing about my life.....I love keeping busy with the kiddies and read when I can which is usually for a couple of hours at night and during nap time :) Nice to meet you all, looking forward to learning about new books/authors through the group and meeting all of you :)

Hi I'm Ros from the UK and awake in the middle of the night. I too have far too many books and struggle to let them go. I have 3 kids between 19 and 31 a dog a cat and hubby. Will read almost anything but preferences fantasy, natural history, sea topics, bikes published by Faber and Faber, classics and poetry. Just love goodreads.
Wow there are loads of Brits in this group. I live in Essex and have lived here about 6 years but have lived in Yorkshire, west mids, South Wales and Surrey/London so greetings to group members from familiar places! Read a lot and also always have a lot of books on the go. Reading has always been my big escape.
Wecome Tweedledum! Great screen name by the way :) You joined just as we are featuring a sea/ocean theme, which should be right up your alley!

Hi. My name is Amber from TN and I love to read for pleasure all year long. I love to read any books that are a good read. My fave genres tend to go to horror, young adult, fantasy, graphic novel, some autobiographies, and anything else that looks to be a good and interesting read. My favorite author is Sherrilyn Kenyon and I thank my local library in TN for introducing me to her books. I am also slowly getting into Stephen king and enjoy Neil Gaiman, Clive Barker, Ridley Pearson for his Kingdom keepers series (which ends next year), Kathy Reich's Virals series, and Gene Wilder to name a few. I read a lot and many that I have read, I have discovered by browsing the many shelves of my library. Others I have bought. When I am not reading, I am either listening to music, writing, doing art, or other things like spending time with family, going bowling, and keeping in touch with my pen pal who has been my best friend for 11 years and we keep in touch by snail mail letter. I also love watching movies and reviewing them for my friends and family. My fave color is ocean blue and my fave actors are Robert Englund and Matthew Broderick. Reading rocks and its good to share your current reads with others.
I live in Kentucky and am retired. You might think I would have plenty of leisure time but seem to be busier now than I was when I worked. I hope I will be able to participate fully with this group. I joined because of the diversity it seems to offer. I tend to read mostly mysteries and fantasy, with occasional forays into other areas. I hope this group will encourage me to expand my horizons.
Welcome Amber and Sharla! I love mysteries as well Sharla, especially on summertime. Right now I'm on a Anne Holt book La porta chiusa
Hello, I am Ramona :) I just like talking about books -even though I, sometimes, tend to get lost in online groups and abandon them for days, I eventually come back to chit-chat. I am here because I urgently need to talk about book, as I haven't been able to properly do it this few past months, I feel like I'm going crazy. And not in a good way./and I am still wondering about this group, I hope I'll like it here =)
Hey ramona, welcome to the club! Feel free to join into the discussions. It's fun! Reading for pleasure rocks.
Welcome Ramona - I hope you like it here too. You can start talking about your book in 'Book Chat' and prevent yourself from going crazy!
Hi Ramona, your introduction made me laugh. Nice to have you on board. Be it with soundness and sanity intact...or not ;)
