Hello Newbies.... I'm Tweedledum... Or is it Tweedledee? And I love playing word games... I'm not a mod but a bit cheeky and like posting new games in the 'Just For Fun' section..... Now I don't see many new faces in there so put down your novel for a bit and test your wits or share your bookish lore... Don't worry about getting an entry wrong by the way... Just have a go.
Ho everyone! My name is Greta, I'm 22 and I' from Italy. I love goodreads, so I can meet new people with my same passion :) add me as a friend, I don't bite I swear

Hello,My name is Elyse and I am a college student living in Tennessee. I have been an avid reader since I was a little kid with my favorite genres being historical fiction, non fiction, and travel books.
Welcome Elyse! I hope that you don't mind if I end up calling you Historietime as I have a bad memory for names different from usernames.
Hi everybody. I am Bruno, 43, I live in Milan (Italy) with my wife and 2 kids.I joined Goodreads mostly because I never know "what to read next" and looking for recommendations... I hope this Group will help me too.
Welcome Bruno! You will certainly get recommendations here, especially once we get to know you and what sort of books you like! Then your problem won't be solved because you will have to choose among so many possibilities *grin* In the meanwhile, feel free to join in any of the discussions and maybe one (or more) of the group reads or readalongs will appeal to you.

Here this thing never happens: since I've been in Goodreads - and in AAB in particular - my TBR list has grown out of control!!!
How's Milan these days of great heat and crowd due to the Expo Bruno?

Hi everyone!! My name is Lisa and like most other members here, I am an avid reader. My favorite genre is fiction, including historical and classic novels. On occasion, I do enjoy reading some poetry and non-fiction though.
I recently began reading To Kill a Mockingbird and noticed this group was reading the book as well. This looks like a fun, active group that offers many different book discussion choices, so I decided to join. While looking through some of the discussion threads here I discovered that I already recognize Greg, in addition to a few members from other Goodreads groups that we share in common. :)
This summer I needed to cut back on my fiction reading while taking some classes, but I hope to be able to read more during the autumn/winter months.

Thanks all for the warm welcome; much appreciated! :)
Hello, my name is Tracy. I live in a small coastal town in Oregon. I've been here for 3 years and love it. I was born and raised in Louisiana. I love reading and talking about books.
Welcome Tracy! Oregon is a big change from Louisiana (although both have coasts); is coastal Oregon rainy the way coastal Washington state is?
Hi! I'm Marina, 33 year old woman from Italy. I see I don't live very far from the creator of this group :-)I love reading (well, of course), going to the theatre, languages, pets, going for walks, Pilates, and so on and so forth.
Don't hesitate to ask me should you have any questions ;-)
Where do you live then Marina?
I love walking as well. My favourite walks in Perugia are along the river Tevere

That must be beautiful, Laura! I've been living in Ancona for 2 years, but I'm originally from Macerata and I'm moving to Pescara in September. I tend to move around a lot ;-)
