Hello! My name is Brooke. I'm 20 - soon to be 21 (my birthday is in June!) year old from New York. I'll be a senior in college in the fall but am currently on summer break. I study sociology/human services and hope to one day get my Masters in Social Work.I'm new to this group but not new to GoodReads. I'm really hoping to find a group that I can keep up with as I tend not to stick to TBRs or anything. I want to find more of a community on GoodReads and am hoping that I can do so.
I love reading and aside from work and netflix, that's how I spend my summers. Over the school year I don't really have the time or mental energy to read. I'm pretty open to most genres except romance and non-fiction/educational (I'll read memoirs).

Hello :) I'm Aleta and just joined this group a few days ago. The idea of having both a classic, non-fiction and more general fiction group-read each month was too good to resist - really hoping it will push me towards reading more non-fiction especially :) And of course, just discover other great books!
I know I probably won't be the most active member, but I will definitely be joining in group-reads discussions whenever there's a book I'd like to read :) - At least if the limited library selection permits me lol ;)

Thank you everyone :)Hello LauraT. I'm from Denmark. But I usually read in English, since Danish translations 98% of the time ruin every kind of beauty the book originally possesed lol. Even though it makes it take longer to complete the books, it makes them so much more enjoyable :)
