Just wanted to say that this is the nicest forum I've ever been on :-)

Everyone seems lovely, friendly and welcoming, other Forums I've been on in the past have been cliquey, catty, and rude.. Not to say that I'm perfect and definitely have a bit of a grump on sometimes (I blame my red hair for that). :-)

Welcome Jamie. Isn't that true? I want to chat with people who share my interest (reading) but do NOT need to share my taste. Different opinions open my mind. But some groups seem to want everyone to think the same. (And if you don't you get 'flamed') Others are groups of people who each just want to tell everyone else what they know- they are all 'self-appointed' authorities.
So far this group feels very comfortable.

Hello all, my name is Debbie. I live in California (Northern). I have been reading since I could remember. In fact my mom always said if I was missing they would never panic. They would simply search closets where I could be found stashed with a flash light and a book. I own my business and have a mini zoo of rescued cats and dogs 6 in total. I enjoy almost any book that it is well written and love any story that will transport me to another place and time. Besides reading, I write, paint/draw, kayak, and hike.
