Welcome Jey.
Welcome Jey.

Lovely to see new group. Well done those who set it up. I may not post as often as I wish but it's nice to be able to nip in and out.
I'm Elaine from Cardiff, Wales. I read a random selection of stuff but love literary fiction. I don't have anywhere near enough time to read all the things I want to yet still can't seem to stop buying books. I possibly need help!

A bit about me...my name is Pink, I live in the UK with my 2 teenage kids and I work as a supervisor for foster kids and their families. Obviously I love reading, mostly classics or 20th century, but I give most things a try.

With everything happening so quickly, and right in the middle of summer holidays, I hope that you will bear with us through any bumps as we get things going. And please, tell us if you have suggestions! We may not implement all of them but we want to hear them :) The thread is located in 'General Info - Ideas/Suggestions'.

I'm Sigourney, love reading, reviewing & writing and I will hopefully be going to university next month to become an English teacher.

This group is like home away from home for me! Love seeing all of you here! Talk to everyone soon in the upcoming discussions!

Lavanya, let me know when you are going to read The Phantom of the Opera as I would be interested in joining in a buddy read :)

You know me all. For the new ones, I am Dhanaraj, a native of Tamil Nadu. And at present I am in Rome for my studies.

Do you know, Dhanarah, I didn't realize you were from Tamil Nadu? Where is your home there? I was there on holiday as an independent traveller many moons ago.

I've had The Mystery of Edwin Drood on my to read list for so long. I'm excited to start reading it with you all.

Gill, I was from a place very near to Madurai and I am sure you had visited that place and the famous Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple. My hometown is Thiruthangal near Sivakasi.

I'm Diana from Texas.
My 3 all-time favourite books are:
A Christmas Carol Great Expectations and To Kill a Mockingbird
I carry a book or two where ever I go. Just in case, I find some reading time during my errands. I like to read all types of genres especially historical fiction.
Hi Diana, nice to meet you. I love Great Expectations and A Christmas Carol though I haven't read To Kill a Mockingbird.

It's great when that happens! Welcome to the group!
