Welcome Colleen!
Welcome Giorgiaelisa and Colleen! Please feel free to join in any of the ongoing discussions or to ask questions.
Welcome Giorgiaelisa. Definitly you're in good company for the amount of books owned: I'm in the middle of moving into a new house and THE problem is where to put all my books. And the flat in almost 200 square meters! Thanks God they've invented ebooks! Where exactly in Italy do you live? I'm from Perugia
LauraT wrote: "The house is really great! The only "problem" is that we have 3 big bedrooms and I've lost my kids:before they were always in ourvliving room, now each in his room!!!"Haha! So peace and quiet for you! Extra reading time!. I'm so glad your house is so lovely Laura :)
Hi Everyone ,I was looking at groups to join and noticed that several of my Goodreads friends are here - Tracey , Beth, and Jean so I knew this would be a good place to be . I have been a Goodreads member for several years , but have only been involved in groups for less than a year and I really enjoy the interaction with other people who love to read . Looking forward to the conversations here .
Yeaaah!! Hello Angela brilliant to see you on here. This group is great and really friendly. Hope you enjoy it and find loads more books to enjoy !!

Welcome Tina!!! This problem is about the same for all of us, and I have to say that since I'm here it has worsened a lot!!!! Thank God they invented ebooks: at least they don't take room in the house!!!!

I find the goodreads book club really gets me back to reading and enjoying books! Do you want to tell us about your job it profession?

That's pretty amazing but I guess if you are writing a novel and doing a book blog you need to keep ahead of the game!
Welcome to the group.

Hi, all! I'm from the U.S., Illinois. My reading interests include magic realism, psychology, classics, art, religions, native peoples... I'm here because groups help me expand my reading horizons! My profile is private from the www (I hope), but I'm happy to friend people in the same interest groups. Happy reading!
Welcome Leann! It sounds like you read a lot of nonfiction, which is something that I am trying to incorporate more of in my reading mix. Who is your favorite author of magical realism?
My how we've grown ! Welcome all new members I know you will enjoy AAB it is by far imo the best group on GR.
Tracey wrote: "My how we've grown ! Welcome all new members I know you will enjoy AAB it is by far imo the best group on GR."We have, haven't we? And a thank for your lovely comment!
Thank you, Leslie, Tracey, and Jenny. AAB certainly seems the most active! Leslie, I read more fiction than non-fiction overall. Alice Hoffman is my favorite author for magical realism. Do you have a favorite in that genre?
Leann wrote: "Thank you, Leslie, Tracey, and Jenny. AAB certainly seems the most active! Leslie, I read more fiction than non-fiction overall. Alice Hoffman is my favorite author for magical realism. Do you have..."Lol Leann yes I do believe we all have a lot to say on our favorite topic...

I too like yourself, Laura T and innumerable other members have the same problem trouble is with me though they're all physical books and mostly hardback which I love but I am always loathe to part with.

Magical realism is hard to define. I tend to use the term broadly. De Lint is on my to-read list, just haven't gotten to him yet.
Welcome Leann. Your books are not the ones I generally read: an occasion to broaden my interests!!!
P.S: Thanks Tracey: we are a great group because of all of you together!!!
