Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself! I'm Theresa. I'm from West Virginia, an avid paranormal researcher, and stay at home mommy to a four year old little boy. Formerly, I worked in the education department of a local museum. I'm really looking forward to exploring this group and getting some recommendations for my ever-growing TBR pile, lol. My reading tastes are very eclectic, so just about anything is fair game.
Nice to meet everyone!
Hey Theresa. It is very nice to meet you. Welcome to the all about books book club. I hope you have fun and will join into the other threads and readalongs. ^_^ I'm Amber from TN btw. anyway, happy reading and hope to see you around the other threads!

Damon Ferrell Marbut here, novelist and poet. Looking forward to connecting with poetry readers and writers. We're a small bunch. My blog email I use is dfmnola@hotmail.com if anyone would like to have steadier connection, as I'm not on Goodreads more than a few times a month. Cheers everyone. Best regards to you and your work.Damon
Hello, I'm Agata, born in Poland, living in the UK. I have always loved reading, although I'm not the fastest reader (this year I'm aiming for thirty, and I might just make it...). Currently reading The Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie. I saw your group mentioned on another group, had a nosy, you seemeda friendly bunch, so here I am!
Hi Agata. Welcome here! And we sincerelly hope you'll find us friendly. Join in the discussions that interests you around ...
Welcome to the group, Agata! Don't worry about your reading pace, the most important thing is that you're comfortable.

And that you enjoy reading!!!!
And that you enjoy reading!!!!
Hey, hello Agata! I'm so pleased you joined. It's great to see you here and a big WELCOME to you! This is a lovely friendly group, so have fun.
Welcome Agata! And I second Charbel and Laura in saying that as long as you are enjoying your reading, the pace doesn't matter :-)
Oh absolutely! What's the point in reading fast if you don't give a book the time it deserves? Or yourself time to savour it? And if you also have several on the go at once then it's impossible to say how "quickly" you are reading them.I think everyone should feel comfortable reading at their own pace. (Unless they have to prepare it for an exam, of course.)
Hi everyone! My name is Larissa, I'm 17 and living in Wales United Kingdom! I'm currently studying at college and I'm hoping to go and study English and uni next year. I love reading anything but some of my favourite books are: Wolf Brother, Wuthering Heights, The Garbage King, The lovely bones and The Book of Lost Things :)
Welcome Larissa! Our group is currently reading Wuthering Heights for our Nov-Dec classic, so please join in our discussion there (and anywhere else in the group!).
Hey Larissa welcome to the book club! I hope you enjoy our club and feel free to hop into any of the discussions and the readalongs and more. :)
Hi all im Bridgette I tend be a bit quiet when in most groups. but I love to read fantasy books but I will read science fiction or anything that captures my eyes.
Heya everyone,I've been lurking around here for a little while, and already have a few friends in the group (thanks to the fabulous Tattered Tales group), but I thought I should actually say hi and start joining in! It seems like a great group :)
I'm Liân, and I live in London with my husband and cat (although I'm actually from Wales - nice to spot another Welsh person in here, Larissa!). I'm 39 years young, and have loved reading as long as I can remember. I read most things, but gravitate mostly to dystopian fiction, the classics, and sci fi/fantasy. I'll give just about anything a try though!
I'm looking forward to joining in some of the group reads here, and getting to know you guys better :)
Hi Bridgette! Please feel free to contribute as much as you want, the people here are brilliant and friendly.
