David or Zane? Who should she have picked? Who do you like better?

She ends up picking Zane over David, because she feels like David was a thing of her past( at least that's what I thought the author was trying to say). I don't know who I liked better. I haven't read the third or fourth book,so please no spoilers.

I always liked David better- I read the books when they first came out so I wonder if I would feel differently now.

David. He seemed more real than Zane, and it;s David who originally taught Tally to fight back (as well as Shay, I suppose). But David loved Tally before she ever was 'pretty', and was the one to call her beautiful even before the operation.
