I agree with about 90% of the actors chosen for the roles. the ones I initially don't agree with are well argued though

Wow. I clicked on that link with my 'Disagreement' gun cocked but I actually love some of those choices. And even the ones I didn't wouldn't ruin it for me. Devi was possibly the only one I didn't like.

I would prefer Coleman, personally. the felurian one was kinda...weird.

I was partially irritated by the frequent pulling from GoT cast members.
I picture the actor who played Malfoy for Ambrose, but I would feel bad seeing him type-cast.

The inly person I can see for Bast is Ian Somerhalder, Also Felurian needs to actually look like a 'primal lust goddess' Someone so young just doesnt work.. I really hope they dont PG13 it, I realise they cant have endless sex scenes in there and they shouldn't but to make an essentially adult book kiddy friendly would ruin a lot of the story

I really love the idea of the actress Morena Baccarin (from Firefly) for Fela. I also agree with Joshua that Felurian should not be someone so young it just seems icky...

That is EXACTLY who I picture when I picture Bast.

I haven't clicked the link yet, just started reading what y'all thought. But I've been watching Continuum lately and think Richard Harmon (Julian Randol in show) would make a really good Kvothe. That's kinda how I picture him looking in the narrative except with red hair of course.

Pretty awesome choices. Not sure about the Hugh Laurie one though. Laurie is too strong. I think maybe Martin Freeman would be a nice pick. The Chronicler strikes me as someone who looks weak and insignificant but has a lot of inner strength (like when he slapped Bast - what a mighty pair).

ALSO, nothing wrong with Rachel McAdams for Denna. She rocks the black hair and her smile can melt hearts.

I like a lot of the suggestions, except the ones for Denna for the most part. A lot of the ones thrown out there are 30+ year old actresses and Denna is supposed to be under 20. Natalie Portman is the biggest flaw I see, can't imagine her trying to play a teenager anymore. Maybe 10 years ago.

You also have to realize that this is going to be a TV show, so big name actors/actresses are not going to want to do TV. They prefer movies. I think the cast will consist of many no names.
