Jex (jexball) | 2227 comments I found this flow chart on how to choose the right book for you this summer (well the right YA book).

Have you read any of the books on the list? Any you would recommend? Any you would avoid?

Yvanka (gasoline) I've read:
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
It is one of my favorite YA books, so I'd defnitely recommend this one if you're up for a serious read.
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Sisterhood, #1) by Ann Brashares
It's been years since I've read this book (and 2 & 3), but I remember really liking this series. However, I think it would be a nice read for the younger readers in particular. I would recommend it to readers of -18 or people who like books written for younger ones.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter, #1) by J.K. Rowling
Are there still people who haven't read it?
Every Day by David Levithan
I've read this book earlier this year. The concept of the story was really nice, but in the end I was a little disappointed. I would recommend this one if you don't really care if a story has no ending and just 'stops'. Otherwise I'd say, skip this one.

Thanks Jex

Interesting how John Green is so predominant on the list! I got hooked on him through The Fault in Our Stars too

Looks like I've read about 20 on the list and another half a dozen or so are on my TBR. Maybe we could make this into a reading challenge? ;)

Lacy♪ ♫Movements of a Demigod ♪ ♫ (lb3553) | 466 comments I've read quite a bit off that list but the following were some of my favorites:

Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth Unwind (Unwind, #1) by Neal Shusterman If I Stay (If I Stay, #1) by Gayle Forman City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare

Kristie | 3595 comments I love that everyone has started to rate the books they've read. It really helps when choosing my next YA. I have so many that I still need to get to.

I have Unwind scheduled as a buddy read in November. I've been really looking forward to it and it seems that everyone here has it on their LOVE list. I'm even more excited to read it now!

Thanks for the flow chart Jex!

We did Unwind as a BOM and it was amazing! I absolutely loved all the social issues it brought up in the book. Feel free to look at our BOM for more input or question ideas.
