Jyothi | 53 comments Can I have suggestions for contemporary romance where the heroine is a twin, is the lesser outgoing one, in love with the hero who is engaged to marry or dating the other twin, or something similar storyline. Even stories where h has to stand in for the twin and meets the hero, etc etc

JennyG | 108 comments There is one by Lucy Monroe also, I think. The only thing I remember is that the hero sees a picture of what appears to be heroine in the arms of another man in a magazine. It turns out to be her twin.

Sorry, I cannot remember the title. Maybe someone else can.

Sorry, I've read this one, but could not find it among Lucy Monroe's books.

Twin stories I can recommend you:

Stand-In Bride / The Sister Switch
A Marriage Betrayed
Wife to a Stranger

Another very good one with twins is (it is the Hero that has a twin):
Stolen Promises

And there are two stories by Sally Wentworth of two twins, I have only read one of them. It is very angsty, but I don't exactly recommend (try if you feel like it):

Twin Torment
Ghost of the Past

Laurey Bright ~ The mother of his child.
R.J. Kaiser ~ Stranger in my arms.

Jyothi, pls. let us know of any "gems" you discover in this trope, one of my favourite ones, apart from amnesia and vengeance

I've been looking and I suppose you refer to a book by Melanie Milburne, where the heroine appears in a porno movie, but it is not her but a twin mirror sister she didn't knew of her existence
Deserving of His Diamonds?

message 12: by Floqueta (new)

Floqueta | 46 comments Jenny and Leona,
I could be wrong with "Deserving of His Diamonds", because I see you have already read it, Leona. But the story bears a similarity with the one JennyG is asking about

Yes, it was good!

message 15: by zuba (new)

zuba | 42 comments Hi its enemies at the altar (she is the twin sister who is filmed) and the hero thinks its his fiance in deserving of his diamonds.. so enemies at the altar is about sienna and deserving of his diamonds is about giselle....its how everyone tries to clarify mis understandings... enemies at the altar is AMAZING... Go for it guys

message 18: by Jyothi (new)

Jyothi | 53 comments Now I cant wait to get down to Deserving of his Diamonds and Enemies at the Altar....Thank you gals. I also remember reading a book about the twin ditches a guy or is planning to ditch and our heroine steps in so that the H is not too hurt. The H realizes something is wrong coz there wasn't so much chemistry with the other twin as in with the H. This sounds vague of corz, but if it rings a bell with any of you that would be great. I did love Forbidden Surrender by Carole Mortimer.

message 19: by Floqueta (new)

Floqueta | 46 comments I see there is another book in this trope that could be quite interesting

Chase the Dawn

but I haven't read it. Only 9 ratings, result 3.33.

willaful | 344 comments The Lucy Monroe book you were thinking of is Bought The Greek's Bride (Mediterranean Brides, #1) by Lucy Monroe . The sequel, about the sister, is Taken The Spaniard's Virgin (Mediterranean Brides, #2) by Lucy Monroe (It wasn't a picture in a paper, but a photo taken by a detective.)

River | 1 comments Thursday's Child by Sandra Brown. Identical twin sisters, one gorgeous and outgoing, the other is a scientist and is more interested in her research than relationships. The outgoing twin convinces the other to pretend to be her for a bit, and while she pretends to be her, she falls in love with the best friend of her sister's boyfriend.

Asteropê (21tauri) | 82 comments HQN Presents new author Tara Pammi has a duo with twin sisters. I just read the first book and I really like the author's style.

A Hint of Scandal by Tara Pammi - book one
A Touch of Temptation by Tara Pammi - book two

message 25: by Floqueta (new)

Floqueta | 46 comments I've found two other books by the author Carolyn Zane about mirror twins:

Unwilling Wife and
Weekend Wife

But I don't know whether the stories are good or not, I haven't read them!!! Just as an information if anyone wants to try and tell us something.

Lizette Novotasky | 4 comments I'm looking for the title of this story , they are identical twins one is more free acting and one is more serious. The more free one put her picture for a dating or escort service? but she can't make it so she call her sister to do it for her. So the sister decide to do it but to teach her sister a lesson she dress like a bag lady except for the shoes and when she meet the guy she found him handsome till he start talking to her. The hero what trying to find a girl to pass as his fiance. I read this a couple of years back and the hero was kind of full of himself.
