~ I actually really like these books and I'm not afraid to admit it! I was upset by how Meyer changed vampire lore but overall I liked it!

~ I absolutely love this series. I stopped at midnight because this is when they fired L.J.Smith. The next 3 books of the series are not written by her and I refuse to read them. I love both the books and the T.V. Show!

You've read all of those books, Joanne?! I am impressed! I may need to have a look at your bookshelf! (I'm with you -- loved Twilight, although I was way behind the curve and actually saw the first three movies before I read the series. Once I started reading, I devoured the series in about a week!)

I actually have a couple of favorites I didn't see posted so far:

- LOVE!!! This indie author hooked me from the very first chapter of book #1. Great world building, great history; the series follows the same H/h throughout, with additional supporting characters along the way. One more book due for this series. Can't wait!

- spin off to the Elemental Mysteries series; haven't read these yet but they're on my TBR shelf. Will definitely read them.

- Novellas. Have only read book #1; I really liked it. Too bad it's not a full length novel but I will read the others.
