It had some serious parts and funny parts. It's mostly serious because its about teaching the MC the job of exorcising demons

Reading , Book 1 of Elizabeth Hunter's Irin Series and it is excellent! I've read about 75% of the book, can't hardly put it down but don't want it to end, either. Glad the story will continue but the waiting will be difficult; I understand it has quite the cliffhanger.

Yeah, I love J.R. Ward! I've only read Envy in that series. Not as compelling as the BDB series, I thought, but I'll probably get around to some of the others. Motto of my life: 'too many books, too little time...'

I've read Pleasure Unbound, but I had to put it down because I found the heroine a wee bit annoying. I'm going to pick it up again soon though

It took me three tries to read . It picked up pace once I got halfway through and all the world building started to make more sense. After that it was smooth sailing and Tayla eventually grew on me. The third book, is definitely the best in this series.
