This series takes a different and more entertaining view on the Devil and other aspects of Christianity

Anything in that realm, yes. Angels, demons, heaven, hell, christ, the devil, etc.

The main character is an angel who did not fall, but chose to leave heaven and live on earth among mankind.

Angels, Nephilim, secret societies, feisty nuns, a very intricate hidden history. Looong book, but every time I was about to put it down, the author hooked me back in.

The Sandman Slim series, by Richard Kadrey.
Fallen angels, demons, hell, and quite the anti-hero.

It had some serious parts and funny parts. It's mostly serious because its about teaching the MC the job of exorcising demons

There is also J.R. Ward's Fallen Angel series, which includes the Seven Deadly Sins, heaven, hell, angels, fallen angels, and demons

Yeah, I love J.R. Ward! I've only read Envy in that series. Not as compelling as the BDB series, I thought, but I'll probably get around to some of the others. Motto of my life: 'too many books, too little time...'

It's pretty good, but I guess you have to read from the start to get the whole impact :)
And yes, that motto is too true

I've read Pleasure Unbound, but I had to put it down because I found the heroine a wee bit annoying. I'm going to pick it up again soon though
