By Christian mythology do you mean Angels and Demons and stuff?

Anything in that realm, yes. Angels, demons, heaven, hell, christ, the devil, etc.

ladymurmur | 20 comments The Remy Chandler series, by Thomas Sniegoski
(http://www.goodreads.com/series/45553...)

The main character is an angel who did not fall, but chose to leave heaven and live on earth among mankind.

ladymurmur | 20 comments Angelology by Danielle Trussoni

Angels, Nephilim, secret societies, feisty nuns, a very intricate hidden history. Looong book, but every time I was about to put it down, the author hooked me back in.

ladymurmur | 20 comments And from the opposite side of the mythology...

The Sandman Slim series, by Richard Kadrey.

Fallen angels, demons, hell, and quite the anti-hero.

It had some serious parts and funny parts. It's mostly serious because its about teaching the MC the job of exorcising demons

Margaret | 13 comments The Grail of Hearts by Susan Shwartz The Grail of Hearts by Susan Shwartz: hard to say if this one should be classified as Christian or Arthurian Mythology, since it incorporates elements of both. Of course, Arthurian mythology already incorporates Christian elements, so...

Michelle (quill_n_ink) | 2 comments Reading The Scribe (Irin Chronicles, #1) by Elizabeth Hunter , Book 1 of Elizabeth Hunter's Irin Series and it is excellent! I've read about 75% of the book, can't hardly put it down but don't want it to end, either. Glad the story will continue but the waiting will be difficult; I understand it has quite the cliffhanger.

Yeah, I love J.R. Ward! I've only read Envy in that series. Not as compelling as the BDB series, I thought, but I'll probably get around to some of the others. Motto of my life: 'too many books, too little time...'

It's pretty good, but I guess you have to read from the start to get the whole impact :)
And yes, that motto is too true

Did you read the Demonica books first? LOD is a spin-off of this one. The first book is Pleasure Unbound (Demonica, #1) by Larissa Ione

I've read Pleasure Unbound, but I had to put it down because I found the heroine a wee bit annoying. I'm going to pick it up again soon though

It took me three tries to read Pleasure Unbound (Demonica, #1) by Larissa Ione . It picked up pace once I got halfway through and all the world building started to make more sense. After that it was smooth sailing and Tayla eventually grew on me. The third book, Passion Unleashed (Demonica, #3) by Larissa Ione is definitely the best in this series.
