Josh Rieger's Tree House

[Joshua]

Josh was happy to hear that. "Let me get some new gloves real quick." He said going into the other room. "By the way, you like swimming?" He yelled from the other room

"Uh, yeah, Swimming is fun" She responded. Then looked around the room and waited for josh to come back.

"Great!" Josh said as he walked back in with gloves and long swim trunks on. No shirt, no socks, and no shoes, "Cause I kinda feel like going for a dip." He said smiling

"Uh...." She smiled "Ok, but I don't have a suit." She looked him up and down.

[Joshua]

Josh hadn't thought of that. "Uh the cabin's aren't to far away if you wanna get a suit, " He said grinning. "Or you can swim in what your wearing. Your choice."

"Um," she looked down at her clothes she was in jeans. "I think I will run grab one, be right back."

Josh walked her over to the elevator and explained how to get down. After she was down and walking he called out behind her, "I'll be here." He said and went to sit and watch tv

Aurra came running up to the tree were Josh's house was. She was wearing a teal tankini which covered her belly and had a purple water skirt on over her little shorts. "OK, I'm back" she called up to Josh. She wasn't sure how she was going to get up there cause josh had helped her last time.

Josh heard Aura yell and went over to elevator. When he looked down he noticed the colors first, of course they were his favorite. "Hold on, I'll be right there." He said and hooked has foot through the loop and glided down.

She smiled "ok" Aurra was really excited. When Josh got down she hooked arms with him.

[Joshua]

Josh put his arm up so she could hold on easier. "So you wouldn't happen to know Damian from Poseidon cabin would you?" He asked as he steered them toward the creek in the forest

"Damian, Hmm no never heard of a Damian." She said shaking her head.

[Joshua]

"That's okay. He's one of my older friends here and I asked him to build me something." Josh said as the got closer to the creek. He heard the water rushing nd know they were close

Aurra nodded and let josh lead the way, she wondered what he wanted Damian to built. "That's pretty cool, I mean to have a good friend who would built something for you." She blushed cause after she said it she knew it sounded stupid.

Josh kept walking but turned to face Aurra. "Who?" He asks wondering about this friend, he didn't know many people from camp and she was being vague

"Oh, my friend Rikki." she said "We came to camp togather seven years ago, but we still don't know many campers." Aurra said smiling they were real close to the creek now.

[Joshua]

They got to the creek and Josh almost got it right. They were about 20 feet from the deepest part. "Over there." Josh smiled and pointed down river. On the other side was a dug out tunnel type thing that pooled next to the river. In all it created a 5 foot deep place next to the river that you could swim in but not to big. "It's pretty simple, I mean, it's not like one of Hephaestus or Athena cabin made it but it works." Josh said smiling and dove in.

Aurra walked over to the edge and dipped her toe into the water it was warm. She sat down on the edge and just kicked her feet in the water, as if to get used to it. "So is this what Damian made?" She asked.

[Joshua]

Josh popped back up. "Sorta. The crater was already here from a battle or something. I just asked Damian to connect the two and fill it. I'm not to good with water stuff." Josh said and swam to the edge. "Not that I don't love watching you sit there but would you like to come in?" Josh said winking

"Ah, I see" She laughed when he winked at her. She stood up and backed up then she began to run towards the water. Aurra jumped and did a flip in the air then dove in with a small splash. She came up and smiled.

Josh smiled, "Show off." He said then tried kicking off the wall and doing a summersault. He ended it up not kicking hard enough and stopped turning while upside down and keep up coughing.

She smiled then stopped when he came back up coughing she swam over to him "Are you ok?" She said sounding a little panicked.

Josh was about to laugh at himself but he was still coughing a bit. "Ya, ya I'm fine." He said smiling, "I tried to be like you with your flippy business and I'm not good in water." Josh said then started laughing a bit

She smiled "So who's the show off now, huh?" She said pushing him a bite. Aurra laughed "Maybe flippy business isn't your thing."

[Joshua]

"Hey I can be flippy!" Josh said not laughed. "Okay mabye not." He said as he sat on the edge. "I think I'll stick to throwing stuff" He said.

Aurra sat by him "Yeah, your pretty good at that." She smiled. Then she looked the other way and splashed him with water, she began to whistle.

Josh turned and looked back at her whistle so innocently. "Aurra I did see that," Josh said with a mischievous smile

She smiled "Oh, see what?" she said laughing a little.

[Joshua]

Josh smiled, "Mhmm so if happen to do this." Josh said as he kicked hard and sent a wave at Aurra. "Sorry the wind took it." He said looking like the tree next him was suddenly the most interesting thing in the world

Aurra smiled "Your, lucky I'm not a Daughter of Posiedon." She said splashing him again. This time she didn't bother to whistle, but smiled bigger.

Josh jumped back in staying above water. "I so wouldn't have challenged you if you were." Though he said walking on the bottom over to her

"Really?" she said having a hard time trying to hold back her laughter. she pushed off the edge and began to tread the water.

"Plus I like you they way you are." Josh said standing a foot away. "Athenian and all."

She blushed "Thanks, I like you the way you are to, Apolloian and all." Aurra said smiling.

"So I haven't really asked much but what's your dad like?" Josh asked not wanting to overstep boundaries but wanting to know about her.

"Um....well he's rich, wealthy, and normally total ignores me." She said "He owns a huge company and his name is Rayn." she said not with a trace of sadness in her voice.

[Joshua]

"I'm sorry," Josh said slipping his arm around her. He didn't want to push so he asked a simple question. "What kind of company?"

"Well, he sells machine's, like cars and vacuums. That's why Athena fell for him. He's really smart." she said.

[Joshua]

"And I guess he's really busy and thinks of his job first?" Josh said looking at Aurra. He didn't need to say who was second

"Yeah," she said "I was raised by a nanny and my dad always had his head in some blue prints." She said putting a hand on his shoulder.

[Joshua]

"Does he know, about well all this?" Josh said gesturing to all around him. The camp, the gods, everything

She sighed "I ran away, but he could see through the mist, so yeah, I guess."

[Joshua]

"Wow I didn't know." Josh said walking back to the edge with her. "When did you run away?"

"I hated my life with my dad." She sighed "Then I meet Rikki and we found camp together." She choked, tears kind of filled her eyes.

[Joshua]

"You don't have to talk about this if you don't want too." Josh said hating seeing her in pain

She just nodded and wiped tears out of her eyes. She didn't know what to say.

"Alright since my question's clearly suck." Josh said. "How about you ask some?"

"They, don't suck." she laughing a little "ok, lets see how did you get to camp?" She asked feeling little better.
