Josh hates crowds and doesn't trust very easily. He is also 18 and older then most so he built this house about 20 feet up in a tree as his living space. He and his pet phoenix, Bob, keep watch over the forest as an excuse, to Chiron, to be able to live there.

((I know this is random but how about the basketball courts? :) I'll post first ;) ))
She shook her head, "There is something you should know about me." Aurra sighed "Odd things happen to me, I mean yeah they happen to everyone here at half-blood. But me I usually do the opposite." She had finished her burger by now and was just sitting in the chair still rubbing her head. The dizziness was getting worse. ((Ok here is the last thing I posted in the forest now we will just continue here. I guess, right?))
Josh pushed off the wall and kneed in front of her. "Are you sure your okay? You look a tad bit pale."He asked genuinely concerned
"Well I have been feeling a little dizzy, I guess." Aurra sighed "But it's nothing....probably." She smiled a little but it looked weak.
"You mind if i take a look?" Josh asked taking off his right glove
She nodded to let him do his thing. She placed on hand on her head and the other one the arm of the chair.
"Just relax. It'll only take a second." Josh said reassuring her. He placed his right hand on the hand she but down and began seeing her if anything was wrong. "Ummm Aura, how are you doing that?" Josh had never sensed this before
"Doing what?" she asked as she looked down at him((brb in like 30 mins))
((no problem and I can make up something but if you had something in mind let me know for your charrie))
((ok I'm back, and I have nothing. What is Aurra doing? You can make it up.))
((lol okay))"Umm it's kinda like your connecting with the power and then absorbing it." Josh tried to explain. "It's hard to explain." Josh looked back up at Aura and all the color and then some had returned to her face. "Feeling better?"
She nodded "Yeah, I do feel better, thank you." She said. "Hmm, Chiron said my mother granted me with something like a power when I was young, but she wouldn't tell anyone Maybe we just discovered it?" The dizziness had gone away and Aurra was feeling much better now.
"Your welcome but I didn't do anything. I was still trying to find what was wrong by the time you were okay again." Josh said looking at her. "As for a power, I think you may be right." Just then Bob, Josh's pet phoenix, flew in and perched himself about 2 feet away on a small branch. "He buddy glad to see you." Josh said smiling at his bird
"You have a pet Phoenix?" Aurra asked. Then began pondering the fact of her power, the gears in her head began turning a million miles per minute. As she tried to figure out exactly what had happened.
"Ya! He keeps a lookout over the forest and lives here sense I feed him and everything." Josh said and lifted his left hand to pet him. For the first time ever Bob snapped at him and tore his glove off. "What was that Bob?" Josh said angrily, Bob just flew out the window leaving Josh standing there with a flaming hand.
"He must have sensed the fire coming from your hand. Phoenixes tend to enjoy fire being free and open not closed up." She said without realizing it, sometimes her smarts just kicked in.
((Hey sorry I fell asleep then had to go do something))Josh smiled, "Your Athena is showing." He said hiding a chuckle.
((Your fine))Aurra blushed "Ha, yeah sometimes I just say things without even knowing till they come out."
"That's okay, it's kinda cute." Josh said without thinking then laughed at himself. "It seems I do the same thing when it comes to you."
This just made her blush even more "So, what now?" She asked as she looked into his eyes again.
"Will I'd love to figure out what happening with you but I don't know where to start honestly." Josh said looking back at her. Only then, after a good 3 or 4 minutes did he realize not only was his left hand out and in flames, but at some point he had grabbed Aura's hand with it. He immediately jerked away and looked at her to ask if she was okay but she was smiling, and she looked like she was glowing a bit. "Aura?" Josh said
Aurra looked down at her hand "Hmm, that didn't even burn me?" She shook her head "This makes no sense, I mean what the heck even is my power?" Her hand glowed brighter, she studied it. "I've never read about anything like this!" Then she glanced at Josh and froze, she stared into his eyes again.((what should her power be exactly?))
((Ability to absorb and cancel out a power. I thought it be cool coming from a daughter of the strategy goddess))Josh just stared back in awe. "That's the glow my hand usually has without the fire." Josh couldn't understand, then something clicked. "Grab my hand." He said sticking a flaming hand in front of her
((ok, now it make sense. Nice idea :) ))
She blinked "ok?" She grabbed it, the flame went out and her hand caught the fire. "Whoa!" She stared at her hand "Hmm, let me try something." She shut her eyes tight and began to think really hard 'go out, go out, go out' she chanted in her mind. the flame extinguished and Josh's hand lit up again as the flames returned to his own hands.
Josh looked at her, then her hand, then his hand, then back at her. She took the flames and was completely okay. I rush of pure adrenaline and relief came over him. He leaned forward and gave Aura the biggest most sincere hug of his life
Aurra hugged him back, a little shocked by his reaction. "Well, that just about solves that mystery." She smiled, was she enjoying this to much?
Josh pulled back a few inch's, just enough to look into her eyes. "All my right hand has ever done is make me a freak. All my left has done is hurt everyone I care about. I can't tell you what it means to be able to touch someone and not have anything come from it but warmth." He said tearing up a little bit but quickly stopped. "Thank you," Josh said putting a hand under her chin so she would look at him
Damian starts lifting himself up and down
Aurra blushed "Your welcome, but I didn't even know I could do that, until just now." She stared at him and smiled. She felt so happy around him.
"The point is you did do it and I can do things like this," He said as he pulled his other glove off and cupped her cheeks in his palms. "In 18 years, I've never been able to touch someone like this." He said with a smile
She smiled bigger "Then maybe it means something?" She said as she reached up and touched his right hand with hers.
"Maybe," he said smiling very widely. He started to lean in wanting to kiss her very badly but stopped short again remembering what happened last time. "Umm, Aura, would it be alright if I kissed you?" Josh asked while blushing.
Aurra just smiled this time she didn't pull back, but leaned in. She let josh do as he wished. There lips touched as they had their first kiss. Her face grew redder as she enjoyed it, then they stopped and stared into his eyes and smiled.
Josh smiled as Aura pulled back from their first kiss. "Thank you," he said not sure what else to say but knowing he wanted to say that.
She blushed again "Your...your welcome." was all she could mange. She was sure her face was bright red now and her smile a mile wide.
Josh stood with a mischievous grin on. "You know I could got used to that," he said holding a hand out to help her up.
She took his hand and stood, Aurra's smiled "Yeah me too."
