There they hatch a daring escape plan, but not before discovering some very strange shark objects. They know that they can only join the Xtreme Adventure group if they can figure out what these objects are, escape from the cavern, and apprehend their kidnappers. But the odds seem to be overwhelmingly against them.

At the beginning of each book, they welcome you to an organization. It's a survival-like group and I believe that people could join up online too.
The books are stories of survival. In one, the boy goes to the forest where his Grandpa lives. He gets lost and sees a spirit bear and a wrecked WWII bomber plane.
In another, they're trapped on an island and must survive.
I think another one is based in Egypt.
The back of the book has quizzes for the end of each chapter and tips for survival.
