I would, but my best friend wants me to read the Infernal Devices Series first - not to mention I already own the Infernal Devices Series, and I don't own the Mortal Instruments Series.

Well, there is someone else who is joining the Buddy Read, and I think she wanted to start as early as possible so I can post a date in between the 22nd and 28th that way she can start early, and I will probably be starting closer to the 28th, how does that sound?

message 263: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea (chelc13) | 1467 comments Mod
Actually she already went ahead and started so how does the 28th sound to you?

I'm up for just about anything. You pick any book you want. I just need to make sure that I get the book in time. Got exams to dec 12th. So I'll start reading after that. If you've got multiple books, I'm up for it as well. But nothing before Dec 12.

Books like Fault in our Stars wouldn't usually be in the section I usually look through. But that was one of the most enjoyed books of mine all time. If you've got anything different on mind, just be aware I can take it, hehe.

meh, since you've already seen the movie it doesnt count. i cant think of anything at the moment, you decide.

Haha, ok. Let me see.

How do you feel about Speaker for the Dead ? I see that you had read the first book and liked it. I haven't read the first book, but digged the movie. That should suffice for now. I'd really love to see what comes next though. And possibly also the 3rd book in the series?

Umm, besides that. I noticed you hadn't read any Neil Gaiman books. Would that be of consideration if you don't want The Ender Quartet series?

I apologize... I keep responding super late... I had some family issues and then my laptop wouldn't let me connect to the wifi, so I was unable to get on until it worked... if you still haven't read it... I got the book the other day from my library if you want to BR it.... I will definitely be checking back on this thread
