SOLVED. YA romance with character called Kieran?? [s]

I'm pretty sure it was a Canadian book. It was about a girl whose mother died, having a "summer romance" with a guy from the city named Kieran. She had an older sister and lived with her dad (who was barely ever home) on a lake. I think she met Kieran because she fell off of her bike and hurt her foot, and Kieran's mother was her doctor?? I read it about 8 years ago..

Near the end, they got in a fight and the girl ended up almost drowning but Kieran saved her..

Definitely sounds exactly like Two Moons in August to me. And, like you said, it is Canadian and by a lake.
