(view spoiler)[OMG! I have absolutely fallen in love with this book.

Let me first just say that I had serious Fallen Series vibes in the beginning. Angels, and a hot guy the main character likes and can't get away from(Daniel), then another hot guy comes into play like out of no where(Cam). But that's kinda where it stopped resembling the Fallen Series. Lol.

Anywho... I ended up really liking the story line. There were a few things that I figured out before they were actually revealed. I figured them out through the foreshadowing.

I figured "Miss Greene" was someone from Patch's past. I figured Patch wasn't actually a good guy from the beginning with simple minded feelings. I also figured that Jules was the bad guy and not Elliott.

What I did not figure out was that Jules was Chauncey from the Prologue.

That got me. I was NOT expecting it. I was also DEFINITELY NOT expecting Nora to sacrifice herself by throwing herself off the rafter! Like WTF chick! Lmao.

I was also not expecting Patch to give up his becoming human to save her. I knew she obviously had to be saved because there's 4 books to the series. But that was not what I was expecting to happen. Well, I guess I didn't really know what to expect but that was not it! Lol.

Now I've read the blurb for Cresendo and Patch "develops an interest" in Marcie Millar. WTF type of shit is that. I am looking forward to this book. But I can already tell I'm going to want to rip my hair out when Marcie scenes come up... Lmao.

All in all, I'm super glad I agreed to this series buddy read!

Also, I am going to take tomorrow to probably catch up on television shows that have started. So I probably won't finish the 2nd book as quickly. :D

Anywho, after the first obnixiously boring 300 pages, the last 100+ pages were a blast! I was left on the edge of my seat wondering what in the world was going to happen! I was in no way shape or form going to guess it was Rixon! That was crazy! I couldn't believe it!

And OF COURSE as soon as Patch finally tells Nora he loves her shit goes down and the book ends. WTFFFF. (hide spoiler)]

I am definitely going to take some time in between finishing this book and reading book 3. Because at this point I'm worried to start it because of how badly I connected with this second book.
