Fool's Gold by Maro Douka. Once I finish this book, I will have read all of the books by female authors on the list.
Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson - technically a reread but I read it the first time in probably high school, and at the time I struggled with the language. Don't really remember much of it.

This brings the total to 166 female authors, assuming I did am not missing anyone.
Afirma Pereira by Antonio Tabucchi. Long overdue and turns out, Tabucchi knew my grandfather and even directed him on amateur stage plays.
I just started “Night and Day” by Virginia Woolf and love it, just reading the first few pages. I love her. Seriously. I read all of her diaries. Surprisingly though, she does not use stream of consciousness in this book.
Spring Snow byYukio Mishima (Book 1 of The Sea of Fertility) -- going to make this my epic read for the last half of the year.
That They May Face The Rising Sun by John McGahern of Ireland. I've had a copy of it for 5 years and all goodreads friends who've read it gave good ratings.

I've read the first two books and will probably read the other two some day.
