Finished: (view spoiler)[ I really enjoyed this book. I didn't think I was going to enjoy it that much as it isn't a genre that I would usually go for. I did think that the ending was a little rushed. There was a lot of build-up to finding the egg and the scene where Wade found the egg seemed to end very quickly. Seen as I am not a gamer there were quite a few references that I did not get however, I don't think that this affected my enjoyment of the book. Overall I would give this 4.5 stars. (hide spoiler)]

I find the idea of Art3mis and Wade cooperating with each other interesting. Parzival and Art3mis are totally in love. I am a bit wary that I won't understand the 80's references since I have no idea about the 80's, not just because I wasn't even born then, but mostly because it had zero impact on my culture (80's was a terrible time for my country). But so far, I am simply enjoying the storytelling and the characters and the worlds too much to worry about that.
