I'm on the library wait list for Book of Swords so I can join in when it drops.

Rob, can you change the Dangerous Women folder to anthologies or something like that and I’ll add the book of swords story threads there.
I'm out, I'm catching up on stuff I've still listed as "currently reading" and haven't touched in days.Next will be something from my TBR, I'm trying to cut back on buying books for a while.
That's true, that's true. But I'm saving for a car! And my TBR has amazing things in it.
Also, I won't last a week without buying more books, you know me.
I have Artemis on hold from the library, so it probably won't be exactly on release date. But soon afterwards I hope! And also...Oathbringer.
I will be waiting on Oathbringer for a while. Forgot most of the story so far, so may wait until the next book is out, and do a big re-read.Artemis is on my radar, but will probably wait a little.
I have plenty on the go at the moment (along with all the new Star Wars releases), but am up for the others in the list (most on pre-order).
So feel free to delete if this is already a thing but would anyone want to do a group read of The Way of Kings and Words of Radiance before Oathbringer? I've been wanting to do a re read because it's been so long since I've read them.
I don't have enough time to do that unfortunately. The science fiction and fantasy group is doing a read/reread though.
I did a reread in May/June. Worth it, but much too soon to pick them back up.Check out the Tor.com reread series. Its a great recap/analysis of the series.
I didn't think of the TOR recap, thanks. Maybe I'll just check that out because I know when Oathbringer is here I'll be too excited to actually finish rereading those massive books and will want to jump in immediately.

You're in luck as we're already planning on reading Oathbringer when it comes out. A few of us read/discussed read Waking Fire previously. However we did it in a single spoiler-filled thread.
If you want to jump into that it's here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

In doing the secret Santa I noticed several shelved Three Parts Dead. I was thinking we should do a group read instead. Maybe in late February/early January?
I own all 5 books of the series cuz they were really cheap earlier this year and I'm a sucker for sales.
Who's interested?

Any interest in the Secret Santa this year Sumant?

We're doing a secret santa thing again this year. I believe you participated last year.

Apparently, Points of Impact is out next week. I had no idea. My priority is The Infernal Battalion, but I'll probably read it after.
Anyone else planning to read it?
Anyone else planning to read it?
I'm planning on reading it. Probably late in January, but if the group reads it earlier I can move that up.
How about Friday January 19th? I'm going to start it pretty much when I finish Infernal Battalion, but it should be pretty close to the 19th I think.
FYI, I'm not sure if this is everywhere, but the Kindle book is only $5 for pre-order and you can add the audio for another $2, so that's a $7 audio book as far as I'm concerned.
Why are all the books coming out this month? Apparently Iron Gold comes out on Tuesday 1/16/18.
At this rate I'm going to have spent all my yearly audible credits in the first 3 months :(
We already have 2 other reads scheduled, but I'll probably pick that one up once I finish Points of Impact.
Is anyone else planning on getting it?

OK, so that's a pretty short book, maybe 1/26? That's a week after we're set to start Kloos.
The Kloos book is pretty short (<9 hours), which means it will probably take me roughly 3-4 days to listen to, so if I start it on the 19th, I'd be ready for for Iron Gold much sooner than the 26th.
I'm probably overthinking this..what do you guys think we should do?

A few days either way shouldn’t matter. Particularly considering I’ll probably read this in a day or so :)
