Review: I have mixed feelings about this book. It was great to be back in this world. I had issues with Curran's actions in this one and Kate's reactions which didn't hold true for me. Still glad I read it.
Flag: p 163 "Shall I hoist the flag?"
Mask: p 210 Curran's face snapped into a familiar unreadable mask.

Guys I just started a new job and school. I am working on my book!!"
Wow- busy busy. Good luck!

Review:
I have mixed reviews about this book that maybe because mystery/crime isn't usually my chosen genre but the book had some good reviews and I thought I would give it a try.
I like the whole idea of the book and I was kept on my toes throughout but I found the constant blurb or words annoying right from the opening page. There were just too many words crammed in that I felt didn't need to be there. I like the idea of the writer getting into both characters heads so you see the story from both Nick and Amy's points of views.
One the whole it is a good read, not your obvious 'who done it crime thriller'.

Read: First Date by Krista McGee

REVIEW
First Date is the third book I've read by Krista McGee and it's really good! The first book I read by her, Right Where I Belong , was actually the third book with characters that appeared in her other books - which I didn't know before I read it. First Date is the first about those characters, the second one is Starring Me which I hope to read soon. Reading them out of order really didn't affect my enjoyment except that I knew what the final outcome was going to be - at least sort of, it's been awhile since I read Right Where I Belong so I didn't remember everything very clearly which was a good thing :)
Just like Right Where I Belong was loosely based on the biblical story of Ruth, First Date is loosely based on the biblical story of Esther. I love this! It makes you really connect with the story in a way you just don't otherwise. However, because the book was trying to draw similarities with Esther the story got a little silly at times, but nothing too ridiculous.
Many times this book had me laughing out loud, and not just the chuckling kind, which is always a great thing :)
Addy is such a great character! She's a girl every Christian girl should try to be like and I think that she's a great role model for them.
First Date is a book people of all ages would enjoy. I recommend it!
***I received a complimentary copy of this book to review. I was asked to give my honest opinion of the book - which I have done.***

This book was so different then a lot of contemporary romances that I read. While normally you're rooting for the main characters I was too busy focusing on the male characters mom. She was a great addition to the story and I loved her character. I really loved that both of these people came from completely different backgrounds but had a lot in common. The romance seemed realistic and it was well written. I will definitely be reading more from Ms. Pamela.

My Review
I have enjoyed this series from the beginning but it seems as the storyline progresses I'm not having that connection with the characters in these laters book, or the heroines are just getting on my nerves. This particular book wasn't as action packed as the others as the story focused more on Jackie and Iain and their relationship than them going off to battle. While I don't have a problem with the romance I do seem to enjoy the books more when there is more action in these books. This was a quick read I probably finished it in 7 hours tops. There were a lot of unexpected revelations that progressed the storyline and a lot of things that I am interested in discovering.
The sex scenes in this book was phenomenal. I miss a lot of the original characters that started the series for me and I can't wait for a few others to get their books because I am interested to see what happens with the other characters. I do like that every person in these stories get an HEA because even though you know they will end up happy it's amazing to watch how it develops especially in this book.

Really enjoyed this book, it was a historical romance with a alpha male and strong headed female character. Bethrothed to each other by a document signed years ago or so they think, they try to repluse each other into breaking the marriage contract but each is as stubborn as the other! Full of laughable antics and a nice easy read.

Review: #8 and still enjoying this series. Now takes place for the most part off planet. Crazy stuff for Lissa to deal with as always. She and Roff find out why he can't remember her. May I just say she got the crap card for fathers. Crap step father and her biological father ~ not much better.
Baby: pg 55 the baby would come soon, too......

The story was okay, but very predictable and so not all that enjoyable. If you're in the mood for a light read this would be it, however I very glad this is a book I "purchased" for free on Amazon.

My Review
This is the second book in the amazing series Chocolate Lovers. We continue exactly where book 1 left off. This book like the first is filled with tons of laughter and once again Gavin steals the show with his tongue and cheek humor that is inappropriate for a 5 year old but hilarious none the less. I really enjoyed this book. It had me laughing out loud and texting my husband some of the amazing one liners that this book was filled with. I also wanted to purchase every single t-shirt that was mentioned in this book.
Carter and Claire's relationship developments were fantastic and even though I guessed some of the ending early on it was still and amazing journey. I always loved all of the other characters especially Drew and his interactions with Gavin. It's like listening to two 5 year olds fighting. Jenny and her always messing up words is a fantastic addition.

Review: This one revolves around the Revolutionary War and the death of Lucy Tarleton. Allison comes across a murder scene after her day as a tour guide at a historical house in Philadelphia. Adam sends in his Krewe to help solve the mystery. This one was just ok for me. Maybe because I have read this series out of order ~ I'm not sure. It kind of reminds me of the Bishop Crime series by Kay Hooper which I must say I like more.
Quit: p176 "So, quit talking to me!"
Pie: p131 "You should try their sheperd's pie," she said.
