I really liked this book! It was very enjoyable! I will definitely read the next one in this series because I liked cozy mysteries where the main character works a job dealing with books!

Review: I did not like this book at all. I hated the female lead. None of her actions made sense to me. Why would a widow who has not had sex in 8 years sleep with a guy who she has known for less then a day? Who does that?

Review: I have to say that this book was just not really for me, I didn't care for the world building and I felt like the characters were a bit forced, I just couldn't get to like them very much. Now don't get me wrong while Dystopian novels are not always my cup of tea, I think this one could have used some more planning, it's not the worst book I have ever read but it's not the best either, this was just OK for me.

This round went so fast and it was so much fun, hopefully we can pull a win for us, but it's all in good fun even if we don't win :)

No worries Amy, getting wisdom teeth removed is never fun. If we win, we win, if don't that's fine too. I found this round so much more relaxing then the last time, It helps when you got great team mates :D

Another lovely novel by Julia Quinn. At the rate I am plowing through her works I'll have no Q's for next years letter challenges.
This was no exception to her make e laugh make me cry repertoire. I felt so bad for the characters who had no choice about their station in life, they all got turned around in this story.
Quit pg 315: the others had not seemed quite ready to quit their lunch
Pie pg 280: the finest shepherd's pie she'd ever tasted.

Okay, I'm back from having the wisdom tooth removed. My mom couldn't believe the whole thing took 15 minutes from the numbing of the mouth to removing the tooth! ----------------------------------------------------

This was a quick read, full of action and who done it's. The whole story was a test of who could be trusted and not. Cora had a bit of Stockholm syndrome and the love felt a bit too easy but it was a nice story.
Wide: pg 73- Just then a wide piece of lumber bumped it's way through the rapids.
Lawyer: pg 41- Maybe a lwyer in the family could prove useful.

Review: I figured in the essence of time that I would pick the shortest book I had that would work for this word combo and I'm kinda glad I did, this turned out to be a very interesting and original read. The Idea that 2 souls could inhabit the same body is not something you read about everyday and the fact that the main female character had cancer was also an interesting addition to the plot line. Not a bad first book for this new author, not sure yet if this is a series I will continue with or not only time will tell.

I read this in record time :) but at 266 pages it was a very fast read. 2 reviews down ladies, we can do it!!! :D

As of an hour ago we were in the lead. I've accepted Amy's on pain meds and we probably won't take first (life happens not blaming you Amy), but hey we were on top for a minute.
Either way first or last It has been a fun game.
Oh Boston has 2 in now also. Some of the other teams are still deciding on letters. Whoo hooo We rock.
I agree Dawn, win or lose we did a fantastic job each week. I hope we can pull out a win but I had a lot of fun either way
I also have to say I wasn't completely sold on the assigning letters at the beginning. But I think it worked out really well. It made it so much easier come announcement day. I still changed my books almost every week but I think I'll recommend it to my next team.
I liked the assigning of letters it made it so much easier to pick books when you only had to chose from 10 letters

Review: I loved it. The “are you my daddy” joke cracked me up. However I did get confused by all the names. I wish the author didn’t give each character 4 first names. Now I want Livy’s story!

Made it the perfect book for this challenge. The only bummer is the next book doesnt come out for another year!

Ok, Boston has had all players post. Even if we use our pass for last week we wouldn't have full points and couldn't get second (if there is a second). Unless someone has read an I book or can get one read in the next two hours we won't get full credit for last week. The rules say we can't use our free pass for the last week but could one of us read Amy's book for her for both weeks?
I know Amy is feeling lousy if any of y'all read an I book go ahead and post it if not its ok for her to post in the am. You can't use the free pass on the final week but it doesn't give you bonus points anyways so it's not going to help too much. If Amy isn't up to reading any of y'all can read one for her this week.
Awesome, I started an I book. It's only 178 pages so I might get done in the next hour. We will see about the D book after that.I am feeling rather competitive today.

Review: This was a sweet story of miss-communication and half truths trying to save people feelings. But I think the main characters were to stubborn at first, with out the miss-communication there wouldn't have been a reason to fall in love. As stubborn as they were they sure fell in love fast at the end.
Pie: pg 59 ...too many batches of fudge and pecan pies to count.
Quit: pg 12 Laci quit talking and took a long swallow.
I've abandoned my kids to their own resources this morning. I've got to go feed them now and I'll be back.
