Jordi Polo Carres To me, this is the best ending in any book or series I've read. It is like if the 6 books had been written only to make this final possible and as shocking as possible.

This is a very good book and I have it in my list of best books I've ever read.

So my question is, what other books do you have in your personal list as better than this one?
Because probably I have to check them out :D

Jordi Polo Carres I'll try it, thanks!

Gary Welch Brent Weeks - The Night Angle Series.

Gary Welch Peter V Brett - The Demon Cycle

Gary Welch Brandon Sanderson - Mist Born Series

Melissa Melanie Rawn has two series that are essentially one series and there is a Raistlin-like character in one. Great character development and story line... Start with Dragon Prince and keep going: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18...

Wastrel There are hundreds of books better than this (speaking as someone who liked this). Are you asking for reading recommendations (i.e. things you will like, which may take more information about what you already like and dislike), or just for examples of books that are better than Test of the Twins? Because there's absolutely no guarantee that you'll like any of them, since most of them are very different from Dragonlance.

[For what it's worth, the book that stands in my memory as the best I've ever read is Gabriel Garcia Marquez's [book:One Hundred Years of Solitude|320], while the best book I've read in the last few years (and thus have fresh memories of and a review of to remind me how good it was) was Christopher Priest's The Prestige. The best epic fantasy I've read recently has been Robin Hobb's Golden Fool, effectively book 8 of a series though marketed as book 2 of the third of three linked trilogies (but that like counting the Legends trilogy as independent from the Chronicles...).]

Gary Welch The Deed of Paksenarrion was great by Elizabeth Moon.

Reon Malazan book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson

Avaminn F'nett Hmm, I like Wheel of Time more. But the ending of the series isn't that satisfying.
