You know how he retired, then un-retired after the Packers took two quarterbacks in the draft, then pitched a bitch-fit, then got traded to the Jets, then retired again, but he really means it this time? Yeah, not so much. After the Jets took a quarterback in the draft, now he asked-- and received-- a release from the Jets, so he's a free agent. So now he's talking to the Vikings. Speculation-- i'm one of the speculators-- is that he's doing this to be petty and spiteful and get back at the Packers organization. Nothing against being petty and spiteful, but don't do it so publicly, and in such a way as to annoy a significant chunk of your fan base...

I love Brett Favre. I'm not ashamed to admit this. He was one of my favourite athletes to watch growing up. Yes, it's true that he's a bit of a media whore... but, he's... awesome...
