I loved Bilbo! Just finished The Hobbit today and totally fell in love with him from the very beginning of the book.

Sam Arnold (samharnold) Moonface from The Magic Faraway Tree since I was a kid I always wanted to go up that tree to the world at the top

Darlene Deluca (darlenedeluca) | 12 comments Funny, when I started thinking about this, I realized how many characters' lives I wouldn't want! Think I'm going to have to go with Elizabeth Bennett. I wouldn't mind sitting around having tea and reading all day!

Rick Shepard As a kid, I dreamed of being Charlie, from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was such an incredible world behind the gates at the Wonka factory. More recently, I would have to go along with so many others, and say Bilbo Baggins. He had a nice quiet life, got to go on the adventure of a lifetime, meet and become friends with, the most amazing people, and then go back to the Shire to his quiet life and the respect of his peers...for a while.

Not me. Although a lot of my friends really love Bones, I just couldn't ever get into it.

I would love to be Alex Cross from James Patterson. He is such a calm, cool, and collected cop that everyone could respect and admire. Plus, he is also a family man and active within his community and Church.

A good number of my ideas and thoughts when writing my debut novel, Killer Rumors, care related from the Alex Cross series.

Wishing you all the best! :)

Evans Light (evanslight) Moonface is also the villian from Joe R. Lansdale's short story Incident On and Off a Mountain Road, which was also the debut episode for the MASTERS OF HORROR series!

I've never read the short story, but I have the Masters of Horror Collections. Very eerie stuff!

Interesting James.

Yanice | 18 comments I think I'd like to be Lizzy from Pride and Prejudice. She seems like a very interesting character. And I mean: I'd eventually get Mr. Darcy ;)

message 23: by Jen (new)

Jen (jen6814) | 4 comments Eve Dallas from the J.D. Robb "In Death" series. Roarke is HOT!

message 24: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (shelld79) I'd probably choose Stephanie Plum from the Janet Evanovich series. There never seems to be a dull moment in a day in her life :-)

Angie | 623 comments Mama wrote: "Someone in a magical world."

Would that be an urban fantasy or a completely made up magical world?

message 33: by Holly (new)

Holly | 140 comments Hmm, this is a very good question....

I think I'd have to go with someone if Stephen King's The Dark Tower series. Those are novels that have stuck with me.

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

Alex Cross from the James Patterson books. He's intelligent, a family man, knows how to catch the bad guys and is respected by his peers.
