The Maze Runner question

I wouldn't remove anyone! Sure, I hate Teresa and Rat Man and I'll admit this Ava Paige chick is a bit weird, but if you were to remove any of them, you'd be changing the story. And I wouldn't do that to save my life. These books are perfect as they are.

Well, even though I don't really like the idea of taking anyone out of the story, if I had to I would probably choose Aris.

Aris really annoyed me for some reason, and didn't really play a huge part so I dont think it would affect the story that much to remove him.

Teresa I did not like her from the start she was annoying.

Oh lol, I was going to say Chuck because he seemed mostly unnecessary. Just a random "innocent" with a few scant personality traits to make Thomas seem more heroic when he cares about him.

*cough*

But I would actually choose to remove Brenda. I didn't really dislike her, I just disliked what the story became after her involvement. In the scorch trials it was fine, but I didn't like their little group in the Death Cure and that wouldn't have happened if Brenda hadn't sprung Thomas.

In fact, I was pro-memory for Thomas at the start of the death cure.

I agree with removing Brenda. *SPOILER ALERT* I had a hard time with the whole Teresa betrayal thing. That totally sucked, and was outrageously rough. Teresa and Thomas were paired for a reason from the very beginning and were best friends and more. They were SUPPOSED to make it through everything together, and although I love a good twist in a story, the fact that they didn't threw everything for me.

I suppose it was another way for Thomas to show Wicked that they couldn't control his life by ending up with Brenda, but still. I definitely think Teresa should have been with Thomas in the end.

I think that the story would be just as interesting/amazing without Teresa.

Can I remove Thosmas??? Despite being the main character, I don't really like him. He's way too boring for me. Well, if he's removed, there would be no story. So I can't do it, huh?

Thomas? Is that bad of me? The story and plot were really good,but I just hated Thomas as a character. There was no depth to him, he was just dull. Even secondary characters, like Newt, had more development than he did.

Umm...without changing the plot? Uh...Jeff? Honestly, you can't really "remove" a character without completely changing the plot one way or the other. This question is a little hard to answer. It's not like you can just remove Teresa or Brenda and eliminate the love triangle...or could you? O_o
