L | 1252 comments {good luck with that daunting sounding reading challenge for new year Booknut! Wow, 600 books would be amazing!}.

L | 1252 comments A). Having looked online for colour representation, i would have to say that the colour i would choose for myself would be Blue {both a mixture of light & dark}.

Meaning -

Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.

Light blue is associated with health, healing, tranquility, understanding, and softness.
Dark blue represents knowledge, power, integrity, and seriousness.

...sad? you say. Sometimes so, when i look upon the world and not all is as beautiful as in dreams.

Q). If you could choose a book of 2013 what would it be?

message 157: by [deleted user] (new)

A) Hmmmmmmm... Of 2013? As my favourite? This is hard. I totes feel like I'm betraying my book-boyfriend by not choosing Fiery Heart but I think I'd have to go for "United We Spy" by Ally Carter. It was a beautiful conclusion to a fantastic series that's been there for me through the ups and downs of life.

Q) What book are you looking forward to the most for 2014?

message 158: by Michelle (last edited Jan 04, 2014 12:37PM) (new)

Michelle (miichelle) A) The Graphic Novel of Fazendo Meu Filme (Shooting My Life's Script), it's my favorite brazilian series and this year the author will gonna release the graphic novel, I'm so excited!!!

This book is available in amazon in english how Shooting My Life's Script, I really recommend! =D

Q)Do you listen music while you're reading? If yes, what kind of music?

message 159: by L (new)

L | 1252 comments A). It bothers me greatly as i easily can get distracted. When i read there has to be total silence ~ no computer on. No television on {not even the picture with the sound down}. This is why i love grand library's as they are places of sanctuary and quiet.
However, having said all this if the book i am reading is so absorbing and consuming that i am unable to tear myself aways from the fictional world that i am in ~ then daily life dissolves around me and even if there is lots of noise etc. all around me, i am able to remain within the book and detatch myself from what is happening all about me. {This only happens in a really good book like Tolkien or Harry Potter etc.}.

Q). What is the first book you have read/ or are reading this year?

A) Pretty Little Liars. I think it's still going. They're on Book 15 now.

Q) For a book to get a 5 Star rating in your books, is there any sort of criteria the book has to fit? If so what is the criteria?

Q) How do you write your stories, with pen and paper, or typed straight on to a computer?

message 185: by Booknut, Head Moderator (new)

Booknut 101 (booknut101) | 4592 comments Mod
A.) A little of both. I tend to 'map out' my stories on paper and do some rough drafts of chapters, but I do the majority of my writing by typing it onto Word Documents. I'll then print out my drafts and edit them by hand before going back and making changes to the original file.

Q.) What is the best non-fiction book you have ever read?
