(It reads like the first two lines of a ballad stanza, with internal rhyme in the first line. Here’s one to follow it.)Stack the pine. Wild with wine, I’ll burn, unshriven of my sins.
Fire and flame, sword and shame, it's all the same at executions.
Needles, dope, a knotted rope that swings with subtle diminutions.
She comes towards the guillotine with a heart full of matches and gasoline and she tells the corrupt politicans about their wrong regimes with gentle admonitions.
(That’s beautiful writing!)The angled blade, dripping, slides smoothly upward as she is led, hands tied behind her, and made to kneel.
Before the iron of man's made god, she looked up at the edge of death and wondered at her judgments.
She stood at the precipice and wondered if the fall would pain her.
It's not the fall, but the landing, that hurts.

He also learns that despite the lights the studio is particularly cold and he in all ways particularly bashful.

But it doesn't take the beholder to notice that the witch's disguise in "Snow White" is pretty dern ugly!
As the loveliest buildings make the most dangerous ruins, the ugliest witches were once the most ravishing women.
And only fools think that the devil's temptations are not dressed in the most elegant arches and most fashionable accoutrements.

The old dog watched the cat with equanimity, scratched desultory, and dreamed of milk bones.
A seeing eye dog training. The brown and white old pal looks up at his owner, receives a nice scratch under the ears.
