Paige (paige_eliz) | 5 comments I have a library patron looking for a picture book she read about 15 years ago.

Elements remembered from the story:
- 7 sisters living in a house with a Bluebeard-type man
- 7 rooms in the house, with 7 keys
- each room is a different colour, with the final room being white
- the final sister opens the white room with the white key, discovers her sisters turned to stone (or something like that) and has to save them
- this youngest sister's name was "Peaches and Cream" because of her complexion and hair colour

Any ideas?

Diana Welsch | 530 comments Someone was searching for the same book on LibraryThing, I remember reading about it. Unfortunately it remains unsolved. Here's a link to the thread in case it has some details that ring bells for anyone.

Diana Welsch | 530 comments Wait, you know what, there was another thread on here too looking for this. It was solved, it's The Seventh Door by Norman Leach.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Second time it's been found here, too. Must be a good book! :)
