Ok guys this is where you will put all of your books for Part 1-Buddy Up! of the Mega Month Challenge. Here's a reminder of what goes in this thread:

PART 1

BUDDY READS
~2 points for each buddy read
~20 bonus points for completing 10 buddy reads
As usual, all buddy reads will count as 2 points instead of 1 point, but if you do 10 buddy reads (they have to be started in July) then you will not only get the 20 points for the 10 books, you will also get 20 bonus points.

B-U-D-D-Y R-E-A-D-S
~1 point for each book read that starts with any of the letters in BUDDY READ.
~10 bonus points for completing all 10 books
All books MUST have adequate reviews or updates to count. You can't spell out Buddy Reads more than once. You can use the "T" in the word "The" or you can skip the word "The" and start with the first letter of the next word (for example, I am using the "S" in The Sweetest Dark by Shana Abe in the example below). The same goes for a title that begins with "A".

I have a question.. I'm reading Stealing Parker for the "S" in B-U-D-D-Y-R-E-A-D-S .. can it count for Cover Buddies too because there's 2 people on the cover?

For some reason, I forgot about the S for the spelling, and only officially planned for all the other letters (on my super organized list). However, I have a bunch of other S titles that I had as possible reads for other parts of the challenge. Ha, I'm glad I realized this. :D

I considered Greta's suggestion of the NA Romance book but it's 560 pages long! I need shorter ones so I could finish quicker, lol. But still thanks for the recommendation! I might read it outside MMC.

I don't know how many books I will be able to use for spelling out buddy reads. I didn't really take that into consideration for choosing my CYS challenge books. I am not so much worried about points I just love spelling out challenges.

You can wait to fill them in. I think Mei was just giving you a suggestion for where to find books if you still need the letters :)

Faster We Burn is fine because that's a guy and a girl's legs intertwined and most of their bodies are on the cover. I'll have to say no to the first book though. Deeper We Fall doesn't have the people on the cover, just their hands and that's not enough. Sorry!

To build off Martha's question so I can confirm this for myself: we can use other covers of a book, even if they aren't the ones that went with the edition we read, to count for certain parts of the challenge?
