what time is it and what are you doing?
6:29pm central...browsing Goodreads while on a conference call at work (who does this?!?! especially this late in the evening...smh) and thinking about dinner.
9:32pm watching best of no nation wondering if it's a book. Does anyone check for a book when watching a good movie?
Lulu wrote: "Kisha it is a book and it is a really good book. Yes I check for books all the time. Lol"
I checked and then immediately stopped watching and reserved the book at the library lol.

I agree it is a very good book and well worth reading.
It took be a minute to figure out you were talking about Beasts of No Nation.
I have not seen the movie as for me the book is always better but I have heard good things about this movie - so maybe.
8:27 AM CT - Drinking a cup of coffee trying to motivate myself to write a couple of book reviews. But the sunny weather is really calling to me after a week of rain. :)

Autocorrect on this stupid phone lol. Yes Beast of no Nation. And the movie (what I saw) was excellent. Whoever did that one should have no Half of a Yellow Sun.

4pm pacific
I'm writing a manual on the ancient Ayurvedic healing practice of marma . In conjunction with my training, already completed, it is to complete my certification to be a marma practitioner.
5:13 Pacific Time...just finished listening to Hilary Clinton's victory speech in S Carolina. It was very nice. She talked about us needing "love." what a concept in a political speech!
7:51pm Pacific. Get set to continue work on my manual on the Ayurvedic healing practice of something called marma.
I have to watch this Beast of No Nation film...2101 GMT - about to treat myself to a bath as I'm home with my Mum and here we have a tub :-)
8:56pm Pacific. Just finished shower and am now doing social media before returning to writing my manual.
Happy birthday, Kisha!I'm at home, finishing late breakfast before continuing to declutter my abode by hauling unused stuff to the Sally Ann.
Belated happy birthday Kisha. Today is my brother's birthday and I'm waiting for my turn at facetime (he's in Japan, I in London)
It's 4:35 PM Eastern Time and I'm in the library (one of my favorite writing zones for some odd reason) and I'm about to begin the next chapter of a novel I'm working on. It's been different for this novel because I'm consciously doing something I always thought I did but didn't. This story requires me to think outside the box and attempt to remain there. Can't lie though.... it's really been fun!
730 am Pacific. Finishing morning toilette before yoga then Saturday chores. Started a new book, H is for Hawk by Helen MacDonald.
2028 GMTgiggling geekily to myself after helping to test a shell script that makes Linux systems easy to install on my recalcitrant laptop!
11:12am Just downloaded a new time travel bookThe Clay Lion that seems interested. Now I'm gonna read it.
10:19AM - Wednesday....at work with nothing on my calendar so I'm gonna try to get through some more of The Blackbirds. I'm remembering why I don't read EJD...his books really don't do anything for me.
Lulu wrote: "10:19AM - Wednesday....at work with nothing on my calendar so I'm gonna try to get through some more of The Blackbirds. I enjoyed his early books more, I admit.

2:49 PM CT - I am looking at a pile of books calling my attention. To help pare down the list I tried a "trick" from a friend she calls "speed dating". You quickly read the beginning to see if the book is your cup of tea. But, so far this time around - I have not eliminated any books.
