Having a wonderful discussion with Kerry, my GR friend."HELLO THATS ME!!! well i'm meant to be working on my own book but i'm sitting at my laptop here in australia where the time is 2.21 pm thurs afternoon (the future!! haha) having a great discussion about an amazing complex story 'Beloved' with Kisha!
It's 6:52 am and I'm Just getting home from work and about to go to sleep. What's Love Got To Do With It is watching me. Ahh! I've been waiting for this blessed moment!
It's 12:13am and I am at work counting down until 6am which is quitting time. Playing on GR (my addiction). And sqeezing some work in there when I can ha!
It's 12:20am and I am trying to find a good spot to end my reading for the night of The Book of Night Women. Man I feel exhausted from this book. It's such a good book with great messages. Thinking I had better lay it down before I oversleep in the morning.
Good evening! It is 22h04 and I am updating my GR status. A friend, an upcoming author, has sent me her book to proof read. I am so honoured!!! I am also preparing for my meeting tomorrow...I know, it's Saturday tomorrow and I should be basking in the sun reading...sigh!
It's 06:35pm and I am trying to decide which of my books I want to read. So many books so little time!
It is 7:30 p.m. and I am home chillaxin after a tiring week. So glad I have the upcoming week off in spite of all the rain coming.

Lucky you!
Lucky you!
It's 1:40am and I am writing on my novel. I got a little writer's block though so I thought I'd browse goodreads and see if I can clear my mind.
It's 3:40 a.m. I woke up with a headache and could not go back to sleep so I am up msssing around on Goodreads. Hope everyone's sleeping peacefully.
4:15 PM. Just finished watching a documentary on global warming and the melting of glaciers on Netflix. Its called Chasing Ice. Very informative.
It's 2:30pm and I'm sitting here trying to endure this 109 degree weather and decide which book to work on since both sets of characters are talking up a storm! THIS is the definition of insanity! ha,ha,ha
Yes! They really do have minds of their own but people think I'm nuts when I say stuff like that. ha,ha,ha It sounds ridiculous to admit that I can't control my own imaginary characters!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!
Lol nope it's reality. My main character told me she told me she didn't like her man and wanted a new one. I said no because he's a main character. She won the great debate! But it's my fault for creating such a pushy matriarchal bossy don't take no mess character!

But it's my fault f..."Yep, that's what you get! ha,ha,ha I'm just kidding. It's always fun to talk with others who know what you're going through instead of looking at you wondering if they need to call a psych nurse!!!
Well I may not be the most sane. Maybe you need a second opinion lol. jk it's all about passion for your work. People wouldn't understand unless they have been there. Marlon James compared his experience writing the book of night women as him being a sonographer. An out of body experience. He said while writing he felt as if he were listening to their story. Now that's a good story teller for you!
Yes, it's most certainly an experience. I do have to be mindful of where I am when I say things about the writing process, though. The last time I was out to lunch with my hubby I gave him my updates on what the characters were up to and the couple across from us kept staring at me with really worried expressions. Eventually my hubby leaned over and explained to them that I was an author and they seemed so relieved! ha,ha,ha The lady thought I was suffering from multiple personalities and was seconds from recommending a good psychologist in the area!!! HAHAHAH We all had a good laugh but then I started wondering how many people had overheard my conversations and thought I needed to be locked up somewhere! HAHAHAHAHA
it's 6:50am and I still haven't been to sleep. Thinking about how the kids will be waking up anytime...so sad.
It's 7:23 p.m. Had a fun filled day with my mom in Raleigh doing the girl thing. (Shopping, Lunch and Drinks). Enjoyed it immensely. First day of vacation was a blast!
It's 3:31am and I'm up reading 11/33/63 on my Kindle. I work 3rd shift so even on my days off I'm up late nights. I must admit even being as long of a book as it may be I'm starting to really get into it.
It's 1:30am and I'm adding more books to my kindle app even though I shouldn't be because it's already full with books I don't have time to read. I'm also on here baring my soul in various threads. AND I'm taking notes for my characters that are talking up a storm.
6:45 a.m. - On my phone reading Facebook and Goodreads like it's the morning newspaper. I've got it bad yall. Pray for me. lol
7:15am and I too like Lasonya and flipping between fb and GR smh. There has to be a facility for us Lasonya. I'll go if you go lol. I'm trying to force myself to sleep (been up all night).
10:36 pm. Just finished watching the Macy's Fireworks on TV. I usually go into Manhattan or Brooklyn to watch the fireworks.
It's 4:30am and I have had my eyes and nose in
for at least 3 hours now. I just can't find a good place to put it down. I can't believe this is my first Stephen King novel. But I can assure you it won't be my last!

It's almost 7pm and I'm on here responding to various threads instead of cooking spaghetti that my hubby wants to go with the ribs he made last night. hahahaha
It is 9:55 p.m. and I am in Wilmington NC for the weekend. Just got upset with myself cause I just realized that I brought the wrong book with me instead of the one I was currently reading at home. Drat! How the heck did that happen, for crying out loud. Ughh..

You mean to tell me you haven't made him aware that books and GR is more important! lol, I didn't have to tell my fiance he feels it in the atmosphere! He already knows 11/22/63, than GR and then Facebook. And somewhere in there we can squeeze dinner and quality time lol j/k.

Vacation, you are supposed to be soaking in the sun not reading! lol. Though I took my book on vacation and my fiance didn't like it at all. But that's the best time to read, at the beach. He didn't think so.

I imagine that has to be very frustrating especially if you were really into it and looking forward to being able to finish. Hopefully the book you did bring with you will be just as good.
I am addicted to reading and hubby is addicted to FB so he's in his world over there in the reclined and I'm on the bed on GR.
Yeah the one I brought better be good. I was reading a good paperback and I'm actually thinking of buying it on my kindle cause I want to finish it so badly. Trying to decide if I want to purchase it for $5.38. I was a little more than halfway finished with it. Do yall think I should purchase it or finish it when I return home?
