What blew my mind was Halle Berry in the Bruised movie.
It is 10:00 p.m. in Boston, MA and I am lounging in my pj’s that I just finished sewing in my beginning sewing class.

zoning out at work while listening to a great playlist coworker made for staff day. my to do list has gone. no idea what i planned to do today. my evening shifts are always like this. starting the workday at 12pm throws me off.

9:40 am and I am at work looking for my next read (which I think I've found, The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America's Great Migration. And I am also doing a little investigative work on a book I just finished Things Fall Apart and trying to gain perspective as to why so many people loved this book that I just can't see the gem in.
Kisha! I felt the same way after reading it. I was like is this one of those books that people tell you is great, but no one really tells you why. Anyway, that was in my younger days…I have since purchased the trilogy and I hope to get some better insight….whenever I pick it up. Lol
