I'm so glad that it isn't strictly "read a retelling of a fairy tale!" I'll keep an eye out for qualifying books that I read during the time for that challenge.

I've made some changes closer to the bottom. We now have a new section: PART 4 where we will have things for everyone to do that are non reading related :)

Yes, you can use one book for any number of the challenges, as long as the book fits the criteria for the challenges you want to use it for.

We are allowing 1 reread for this challenge and you may use that where ever you would like. The only exception is that we will allow a second reread if someone has read the book we have picked for the Group Buddy Read (which should be up today) since we are the ones picking that book and it can't be substituted with any other book.

Yep. Sorry it's taking us so long. Initially we were going to do a book that we all loved, but a lot of people in the group have already read those so we've been trying to find one that we would all like to read that we think everyone else would like to read too. It's a little bit tricky, but hopefully we'll have it up by the end of the day.

I didn't see anything in the challenge (not including the mod challenges because each had its own rules displayed about this) about booksellers than 100 pages (unless I'm mistaken). Does that mean they count as half points just like they would in a regular stats challenge? Like, say, I read a book that qualifies for cover buddies, but it has only ninety something pages in it. Is that worth a half a point?

no. we're not doing half points. It has to be 100 pages or more
except for the Clean Your Shelf Challenge...and in that one you are allowed one book on your list which has fewer than 100 pages.

Thanks Claudette! You know, you can always join even if you don't plan on reading much. We're still giving away an ebook to a random winner so even one entry gives you a chance! We also have an entire section for non-reading activites (see Part 4) where you can earn points too :)

I thought I saw this somewhere in the rules for the challenge, but for some reason I can't find it anymore. Aren't we allowed one reread (two if someone had to reread the group read)?

Yes, you are allowed one reread, unless you have already read the Group Buddy Read, then you are allowed to reread that also :)
